GBL, I used to really love GBL a little too much perhaps... it's an incredibly versatile drug you see, you can do almost anything on it and it will enhance the experience in some way. GBL and a movie was a great evening, for example. Or GBL and a party, GBL and sex. All the things. Maybe that was just me though ><
It's not sedating exactly until you dose highly, before that it's anxiolytic and full of energy I found.

That's really great to hear. I too have been high on life recently. Well until GBL arrived. Now I'm high on that too. All your comments about it ring true. I have been going easy though not dosing throughout the day. Last night I just wanted to test a higher dose. Then I woke up. I'm desperatly trying to not need to dose in the morning and have my tolerance shoot sky high as 0.75ml doses are where it was at until last night. I'll stay off for a bit to get back to that. Feel a bit shaky etc. this morning. I do want to dose. But I shan't.

Cornishman, you missed out on a free hamper there mate. All you to do was say 'feed me Knock, feed me....' or something and jars of picklelilly, a box of assorted variety cream crackers, several tins of spam, assorted small cheeses and a bottle of unheard of cava would have been yours. Why do they they fill hampers with shredded paper? If you have a hamster Cornisman that would have been a bonus. Hey ho mate better luck next time. I'll know what to say if Knock ever asks me if I've eaten. =D

Bayer-Barca and Dortmund-Real

In the group stages I thought Dortmund were outstanding already, I reckon Mou is in for a hell of a surprise. They have great attacking potential.

Good to see either of Barca or Bayer will be out in the semis too, can't stand their bandwagon, arrogant fans.

Festival-goers hoping acts won't distract from camera phone use


AS the festival season begins, there are growing concerns the events are increasingly focusing on music instead of gratuitous, ego-driven amateur photography.


Festival promoters are booking increasingly expensive line-ups featuring so-called ‘bands’, prompting fears that live music is a deliberate attempt to distract people from constantly taking pictures.

Tom Logan, 26, said: “The point about being at a festival is gathering the pictorial evidence proving to everyone else that you were at a festival, for which you read need one crowd shot about every 19 seconds.

“Then you stick those images on Flickr so that everyone thinks you have an amazing, cool life and don’t spend nine-tenths of the year working in a recruitment job because you’re actually a dreary, witless sack of shit.

“That last bit was totally hypothetical, of course. I am cool.”

He added: “Last year at Glastonbury there were some really noisy, bass-y band type things that were shaking my iPhone around so that I couldn’t get a several dozen priceless shots of my friends wearing colourful hats while eating falafels on drugs.

“I just hope Michael Eavis and co aren’t going all ‘music’ on us, that’s all.”

This year also sees the launch of the first fully photography-centric festival, Photobury Fayre.

Promoter, Julian Cook, said: “There’s no acts, just thousands of people in a field lifting each other up just high enough so they can get a really good shot of the crowd.

“We may also throw in some large polystyrene dinosaurs that people can be photographed pretending to have sex with.”

Yeah same here with the draw thing. You have your washing out? Must have some decent weather then SHM. My tumble dryer is eating into my electricity bill at an alarming rate as we speak. :!

Bloody rain I was taking the little one out this weekend and I have been hyping it up (yeah I know lesson learnt) and she has been bouncing off the walls like a nutter about it. Balls, what do I do parents? Help.

Before anyone says it she is over the novelty of McDonalds happy meals and the ball pit btw.
 
I won't use the tumble dryer unless it's exceptional circumstances. Can't get me washing on the line today as the weather is shite again, but as it's so shite we have the heating on still, at least in the evenings, so I'm drying washing on the rads.

We do do that MM but the heating's off so it's one or the other. Gas bill takes a kicking or the eleccy bill takes a kicking. Either way I'm fucking skint so...
 
A micro party is a fucking great idea MM, good call mate. Thank you. She is always next door or the next doors kid (jesus I almost typed her name then lol) is over here so to soften the blow that she isn't going to be able to see piglets this weekend I'd have to make it a little special. Great idea though man. Get the cogs turning and see what I can do.

Afternoon all, hope everyone is well. What has been happening in Bitcoin land recently? The value of a coin has dropped from around £150 to £40 in 24 hours. Bloody hell, gonna be some pissed off "investors" out there!
