temporaily not giving a fuck, which is whenever i take G. I guess etiz must still work as i didnt go into complete WD but i could not feel any noticable effect atall in terms of hypnosis/axiolysis. This has me rather vexed, fortunately i had some diclazepam, which has been perefect to painlessly switch to @ 7mg. Dunno know whether to stick to the D after a few weeks etiz tolerance break, or go back to the etiz, as my tolerance may reduce whilst im not using it. Otherwise im gonna be left a quite a lot of leftover etiz. :\ G is cleary gonna fuck up a taper, especially if used regularly, i cant be doing that. I am still serious about the taper, but once again my plans and intentions have nothing to do with my actual behaviour. :\
 
Well, that's me down to 1mg lorazepam every day till refill day. I should have been a lot more careful. :(
 
had been a week benzo free and stupidly took some etiz on Wednesday and friday this week. Felt like complete shite yesterday, chillin with friends then out of nowhere i got intense anxiety and had to nip off to the toilet to pop a safety pyraz i had stashed in my wallet. Looks like il need another super quick diclaz taper again! :|
 
with your 'superquick diclaz tapers' what is your timeframe and doses if you dont mind me asking?

Also are you using the pills or powder in PG? Using volumetric measurmenets will be helpful towards the end, considering that its strong stuff (10-12 times stronger than diaz8o) but the source i have for the powder is far more expenisve than the source for the pills. I guess that when i finally get gown <1mg i could switch to the powder and volumetric measurements then, as i should only need the smallest amount they sell which is 100mg.

That would give me 100 days to play with, depending on how things go, i dont think id need 100 days to reduce the final mg, but we'll see. I could then accurately shave off tiny amounts like 1ml every few days.(but considering its' strength they could make a relatively big diffrence?)

Im encouraged so far with diclaz that ive started off on 7mg with no problems, able to get to sleep fine, (etiz wasnt working anymore). Although its a bit stronger than etiz i think theres a psychological boost by getting down into single figure measurements at last. I had been stuck on double figure doses of etiz for years:\

I was only taking benzos daily for a few weeks there so i tapered from 1mg to nothing in just over a week i think reducing 1/4 of a pellet every couple days, wasnt too bad but i could have done without the shakes/anxiety. Have etiz pg but my pyraz/diclaz were just pellets. Yeah i think once your down to 1 or 2mg that your plan with volumetric dosing could work better than faffing about with 1/4's of pills like i have to with pyraz or diclaz

Glad your getting on top of things with the taper, weird how etiz stopped working but id say just ditch the g and other gaba stuff and stick to your plan. right it all out on paper or on a word document, it helps keep things on track.

I can see already see myself getting really quite anal towards the last bit of the taper, and everything will have to be really precise, given that its strong stuff, and every little bit either overdosed or underdosed is possible to make big differences at that stage. At least it'll probably be nagging on my mind that it can make a big differnce. Cutting a pill into precise halves and quarters can be quite tricky, and getting that kind of thing wrong, at the tail end of a long habit, probably wont help.:\
 
yeah its crazy how it goes into microgram doses thats another a diaz script would be ideal. But i think you shouldn't need to worry about that yet. id say just try to be consistent and listen to your body as you make reductions. By the time you get down to the really small doses you could be out of the danger of having a seizure but correct me if im wrong as it could be down to the length of time a person has been on them rather than the dose they have got used to.
 
like you say its a long time away to be worrying about yet, and im not sure if ive got my maths right, but would 0.1mg of diclaz = 1mg of diaz? That would still be quite a high dose to jump from, or would it, im not sure, ive got so used to mega doses ive completely lost sight of what a normal dose is. I suppose i could make a very weak PG solution also, something like a ratio of 1mg of diclaz to 10ml of pg. That way it would be like i was reducing from 1mg of diazepam. Would have to be sure the powder gets properly and evenly disolved though.

I'll have to check out The Ashton Manual properly, it will probably be in there, if 1mg of diaz is too high too jump from and the drs wont give me a script to taper with, i might be better finding a weaker rc benzo to finish with, like possibly the 'new etizolam' is meant to be much weaker but also has a much longer half life.

I've got plenty of time to think about the last bit of the taper, and hopefully come up with a sensible plan.

1mg of diaz is practically sub-therapeutic, so I think you'd be okay to jump from there. You're probably thinking of clonaz or alpraz when you see 1mg as a high dose. Good luck!

Well, I took a bunch of benzos before an important meeting, and they didn't really kick in until afterwards. Disaster. Ah, well - I'm feeling good now.

good news about the diaz, cheers. Your meeting possibly went better than you thought even if you might have felt more anxious than you would have liked, sometimes with benzos such things can feel that they are going well when they arent really going all that well.
 
Just found Pyrazolam and can't believe these wee beauty's never made it to market. Knock anxiety right out of the park without any sedation what so ever. I've had major problems with benzos basically because I think them recreational and royally take the piss. I'm a heavy drinker and the day after I can hardly leave the house without some kind of benzo. I took 2 of these yesterday and took a walk down a busy street with my head held high ready to take on the fucking world. Usually I can't lokk any fucker in the eye and my balance is basically all over the shop with borderline panic all day long.

Fuck all rec value but for anxiety sufferers these are golden.
 
Hi guys, people who have been on diazepam tapers, what do they usually start on? I'm ashamed to admit it but I'm on a pretty ridiculous xanax dose, daily. Down from 50-100mg daily to 20.

Been to the doctors a few years ago about it and he was sympathetic (lovely guy!). Said a taper would be fine but I never went back. Somehow I'm holding everything together at the moment but I really want out of this mess. 20mg seems to be the very bottom of the dose I can get away with.

Should I just buy diazepam to taper myself because I don't see them prescrbing anything near what I need to feel normal.

On a lighter note I ordered some flubromazepam on a 'black Friday' deal, may try taper with that but it doesn't really do anything either til 50mg or so but the half life is a bonus

Im gradually getting up earlier and earlier each day; to state the obvious, i think this is the crucial first step in any benzo taper is to have a rising time routine that you stick to like clockwork. Otherwise if you're getting up and going to bed at any old random hours it's going to be far more difficult just to get to sleep on your current dose, nevermind a reduced dose.:\

Very good advice mydrugbddy. Sleep hygiene and healthy living in generalcan only help.

Just popped 7.5mg of pyrazolam. Still feeling normal where as I'd be starting to rattle without the xanax. No muggy head and silly ideas which xanax gives plenty of. Perhaps with a small suppliment of flubro this could be my taper.
Xanax powder is a 1 way ticket to addiction. Avoid if you have no self control or accurate measurements.
