Thanks, would 100mg give you a buzz for first time experiment ?can always take Diazapam to potenciate it ?

yeah it would give you a mild buzz. i'd say anywhere from 100-200mg for a first time buzz. grapefruit juice always works too as an extra boost

Ive used Dextromethorphan as an antidepressant now for 13 years. I found it's effects similar to small doses of PCP. I've been trying to find a Dr. to help me get off the Dextromethorphan now for 9 years with little success. Xanax worked for me, but after 4 months the Dr. took me off of Xanax (you know how Drs. are when it comes to benzodiazapenes) I have been prescribed every other antidepressant under the sun with no success. I've had limited success with Wellbutrin, but it's main effect has been as an anti-smoking aid. But as far as I am concerned, one antidepressant is about as effective as the next (i.e. not at all).

I would say if I had to take it as an antidepressant I would do higher doses every few days instead of a daily therapeutic dose just for the trippy feeling I'd get from these. But generally feels like a bad idea doing DXM regularly in such short intervals. Everything has its price (well maybe not everything but in this context you should get the idea) and while you might suspend your depression this way, you will probably develop another mental problem- DXM addiction is one already, to say the least. It's not a substance to be toyed with.
