Drugs And Parents [MEGA-MERGED]

This is a often repeated topic? Ive never seen it here.

You sound like an immature little brat.

If you want to do drugs then do them, why the hell do you need your parents permission.

First of all, if you're young enough to have to ask permission, you're too young to be doing drugs. Secondly: you are freeloading off of them, therefore you don't have rights for shit. Why do you think you should be able to do something they disapprove of? It's really surprising that you're that arrogant.

Do you pay the bills? Do you buy the food? The answer is no. When you pay the bills, you can make the rules; but when you're mooching off of someone else, you don't have the right to do what you want if it's conflicting with what they want.

when i asked what the hell youre talking about, i seriously just didnt know what you were trying to say.
 
Unfortunately, parents of young drug users will usually freak out at the first suspision of use and things will never be the same. Often times, parents first become suspicous when the drug of concern is nothing more than weed. From then on, smoking is forbidden while the young drug user goes on to experiment with more dangerous and more easily concealable highs. The parents think the problem has been solved, yet one morning they wake up and find that their child has ODed. Saddest of all, they thought that cracking down on pot was in the best interest of their child.

Now I know that isn't always the case, but for someone who is determined to continue drug use regardless of parental guidlines, it certainly can be. In essence, some parents are in fact saying to their kids, "We'd rather you stick to hard drugs, there's less of a chance we'll catch you and thus have a reason to be concerned."

just smoked some bowls with my dad, its the first time either of us have seen each other blaze, then we talked about bullshit, compared buds...it was a trip

anyone else blazin wit the rents?
 
haha yup....shit is defenitely a trip...my pops gets kind of annoying tho man, i guess its cuz hes either old school or maybe just cuz hes my pops...he likes to talk about the most aimless bullshit ever lol
 
One time shortly after I turned 18, but it was actualy kind of weird. Not saying that it's a drug, but imagine doing any other drug with your perants, it's just wrong.
 
i smoked with my mom at a dave matthews concert when i was 19 or so, but my mom and i have a weird relationship, we go out to bars and stuff together...she's more like a really good friend who's my same age than a parent (this all happened after i moved out).

my dad tho - guy is totally 100% straight edge...has only been drunk twice in his life (literally)...he drinks but never more than 2 glasses of wine total, he won't even take NyQuil if he is sick and can't sleep...apparently he used to smoke weed, but i could never imagine him smoking, or relaxing for that matter.

I think the coolest thing is smoking with your brother
 
themindlessone - dude that reminds me of one of my friend's moms back in the day...she would smoke with us and hook us up with some of the craziest weeds known to man (like some perfectly grown super silver haze...GOD that shit was INSANE...she was an old hippy and a "gardener")
 
^^That kicks ass! It wasn't really quite like that though. We both knew she smoked from time to time with her hippy friends, but only on occasion. We're used to hiding everything and acting not stoned infront of her. On 4/20, she walked into my friends room where we were just chilling being stoned and started talking to us. She then asked about the "lung" next to me, which has a bowl on it that fits a 1/4oz with room. I explained her the procedure for using such a device, then offered to demonstrate. It was at that point she gave us the smoking room, for she didn't want their house to smell like weed. It was a really weird experience, but it kicked serious ass. In those 3 days of 4/19-21, I smoked with 2 of my high school teachers AND my best friend's mom.
 
Heh - I've never smoked with my parents (who are in their mid-seventies now) but I've smoked with my two oldest children (currently 25 and 21).

Maybe I'd do it, but I'd be afraid that they find it intense.. which it is.
My mom went to Amsterdam with a friend, she bought a joint, it's been lying in her closet for 4 years. She says she doesn't have the guts to smoke it.
Because she was 16 when she smoked her first and only joint and puked all night. I think she must've been drunk too, for that to happen.

Who knows, maybe some day.. If they're old and have pain and are willing to try medicinal weed :)
 
I dont know if i could blaze with the parentals. They dont smoke but if they did i might do it once or twice.
