By increasing omega-3s, you lower levels of PGF2A and PGE2 via reducing muscle inflammation and lower arachidonic acid production. On the other hand, by increasing omega-3s, you reduce pain, improve insulin sensitivity, glucose uptake and reduce cardiovascular risk factors. I am not suggesting that you completely eliminate omega-3 fatty acids from your diet...just don't go ape shit and consume mega dosages of fish oils- they may be suppressing inflammation along with muscle protein synthesis.

Whatchamacallit said:Great article in the October 2007 issue of Muscular Development about NSAIDs and too much fish oil inhibiting gains. We in the bodybuilding community are already aware of NSAIDs but, personally, fish oil is news to me.
I will attempt to look for the two specific studies mentioned in the article for myself and others to review.
