Do you use an illegal drug medicinally?

cannabis, definitely. for nausea, anxiety, insomnia, etc., etc.
aside from that, I wouldn't say I have used any non-Rx drugs for medicinal purposes. If anything, maybe ketamine for depression/anxiety/pain, and heroin for pain.
 
Synthetic cannabinoids / Cannabis for neuropathic pain / insomnia. Mainly for insomnia caused by the pain.
 
Sort of, but not really.
Dope makes me a whole new person. I might not be in any pain (physically) but it sure does help my mental state of mind.
 
In great quantity.

But I'd have to say I am the benefactor of my own malpractice.
 
heroin for anxiety/panic attacks and insomnia, and depression

also, got me to stop cutting, and suicidal ideation

but in the long run obviously it is no cure, just a temporary relief, and you can only keep building the habit for so long before it bites you in the ass. no matter how bad anxiety/panic and depression can get, they are nowhere as near as painful as IV heroin withdrawal

if heroin were legal, it would be easy to walk down to the corner store, and itd be much, much cheaper, i could use it indefinitely, like any "legit" medication, until i was ready to stop
 
Ketamine and MXE for depression. Ketamine is better but harder to come by/more expensive. I don't use dissociatives recreationally anymore, just the smallest dose I can for antidepressant effects (~100mg of K, ~30mg MXE).
 
Id say both of those qualify as recreational doses ^

30mg of MXE has me pretty wonky, considerably much more wonky than 100mg of ketamine.
 
I use a dose of unprescribed morphine every morning before my physically demanding job. It keeps me motivated, pain free, and able to things i don't think id be able to do without it. Which in turn keeps me wanted at the company and annual raises. I'm not nearly as upbeat and motivated without it but i also know that I'm addicted and it's probably doing more harm then good.
 
over the last 2 months I've bought (luckily) very high purity herion twice to get me through my pain script gaps (2-5 days) high dose oxy, it's the easiest solution. I always feared instantly LOVING it but it's very similar to oxy and morphine, it's great but it wasn't love at first sight cos I'm so used to oxy and morph.

Hopefully there won't be a script gap this month. Come on, you can do it jiggy!

I'd use dissociatives alot more for my pain if the doses for decent analgesic effects weren't so dissociating.
 
I think anyone who's addicted to something is doing this at some level. I know I was back when I used dope.

Now, not really. I'm more recreational with my drug use.
 
occasionally but I find that a lot of people just want to get high and pain/medical use is a good excuse for their habit/addiction. While sometimes their is a legitimate need people will often go straight to their DOC vs trying out other options

might as well kill 2 birds with one stone I guess
 
I consider that I use cannabis somewhat medically, I mean, I certainly use it recreationally as well but if there is just one time per day I smoke it is before bed. There are plenty of days where I smoke during the half an hour or so lead up to lying down in bed and that is all I smoke for the day, since I suffer from insomnia and this aids my getting to sleep I feel it is fair to regard it as medicinal.
