try different positions. i found laying on my stomach with two pillows under my stomach gave us the right angle. if you get it right, it shouldnt hurt at all (assuming plenty of lube of course). remember to lube up every time you try again, and it'll slide in much easier and with you barely feelng the transition from only the tip to the entire length going in. and then once its in - get him to stay gentle so that you can work out what you can handle and take it from there. its great :)

i guess the biggest thing is make sure you trust the other person. you wont relax and be comfortable enough for it to work otherwise.

A little insensitive? What a selfish dick!!! Sorry for saying that about your ex but he really acted like an asshole there. Guys really shouldn't take anal sex for granted without considering that it *might* hurt the girl if it's not done right.

Sounds to me like he wasn't a big loss :p

Yeah when I read that my heart totaly went out to her. Guys can be jerks if you let them. Stand up for yourself and dont let anyone do anything you dont want them too or you feel uncomphortable with and definately be more choosy with your partners you deserve someone who will treat you right.
 
It isn't really my thing, and I've only done it with one guy. A well intentioned finger or being on the receiving end of a nice rimming is lots of fun, though. ;)

That's actually fucking rape, or the closest thing to it seeing he at least rolled his eyes as he got the lube.. guy sounds like a loser to me.

I had a girlfriend when I was at Uni who was always up for it and often said “you can do it the other way if you like” in the middle of regular sex. I wasn’t super into it but didn’t mind it.
