nice one seth! that mix is on heavy rotation at the moment.

mystic- nice change of pace. I really liked this mix. That Placebo track is dope.

I'm in the process of finishing a new mix, just need to tweek a few things, get it recorded and get it posted.

Hey Fuzzy, I really liked your part one mix, and we have similar taste in tunes, so I checked out this one right away. here are my thoughts the new mix:

I'm going to break this down into two parts: first part is just on the technical issues and the second is on the overal scope and flow of the set

Part one - first off, the mix between tracks 10 and 11 was very nice, really smooth and a really nice track selection on your part. that really stood out and made me take note of what was happening.
as for the rest of the set there were a few transitions that seemed to be cut short, meaning the out-going track was just dropped rather than eased out. and there were a few times when the beats were noticeably off, not galloping, but definitely not locked dead on.
my other note was that a few times the incoming track sort of just popped right in instead of easing in which may have been what you were going for, but it IMO hurts the flow of the mix.
Technically speaking, the first part of the mix was a little rocky, then you pulled it together (maybe just got into a zone) for the latter parts of the mix. nice

Part two - speaking on overall flow, programming and track selection. I have to say I like the progression of the set. You started sort of deep and dreamy, then took it into tome driving tech-ier stuff, then out with some full on trance. I'll admit, though, 2 minutes into the first track, I felt like I was listening to the end of a mix. That track, to me anyway, sounded like the perfect closer, rather than an opener.
One other thing I noticed, was tracks 1-3 sounded really sequential and didn't flow too well with eachother. right after that though, you get into some really good stuff that all sort of had the same mood and flowed well together.
The only other thing I want to mention is the U2 track had me thinking, "ok, this mix is about to go nuts" and you held up your end for sure:). after that track the energy escalates nicely and holds it for the rest of the set. nice placement for that track.

overall, I think this was a good effort. I would say tighten up and smooth out a few of the mixes and this would be a nice set to have in the collection.

note: I probably went overboard on the review, but I had some time to kill and just wrote down my thoughts as I was listening. check out my Alter Ego mix if you get a chance. musically, it's along the same lines as yours. anyway, keep up the good work.

NautiKat - I wasn't really in the mood for hard house when i first started listening to your mix, but i was hooked by the middle of the first track and was practically dancing around my room at the end. Good solid mixes, great track selection, and a superb job building from one track to the next. Everyone else out there, if you like hard banging main room house/trance/nrg, check this out!!


I'm tryin to get to the rest of you, but unfortunately my connection is incredibly slow, so downloading is sketchy at best.

Seth, just finished listening to your mix. Good stuff man! I'm not a huge fan of progressive, but this one definitely takes the listener on a journey. It seems to have cut out very rapidly at the end, but for all I know that could just be my POS computer.
 
yeah seth that mix is really good it puts me in a really good mood, is there such a thing called funky hard tech its the best way i can describe this set i heard on the radio the other night? and tendril your server keeps reseting and i really want your mix!
