dj's, post your latest mix here!

ok it seems that I forgot to post the link for my mix, but I edited the post and now you all can hear it.

r_mack -

listening to your mix right now, I've just about listened to the whole thing.

So far I'm diggin it. Its got kind of a laid back, funky vibe to it. the kind of tunes you could just listen to while kicking back on the couch with your friends on a sunday afternoon... or "it's friday night and you want to get a nice groove going for the festivities later on" type music. I like it.

on a scale of 1-10 I'm thinkin this one is in the 7.5 to 8 range. there were couple of beat slips, but nothing you didn't fix quickly and some level issues, but nothing to get worked up about. nice job!

thanks allan51. I actually made this mix so I could play at a chilled out event in Cincinnati. I was satisfied with the outcome so I posted it on here. I usually spin more funky and banging house than that, hopefully I will have a not-so-laidback mix up in a couple of days. Thanks for the feedback!

DJ Wunderkind "enTRANCE" A Hard Dance Mix

This is a new Mix that I've put together of some techy hard house and euphoric hard trance, definately fun if you like it near the 150s. If ya check it out, please give some constructive criticism. I need it bad, I am close, and I just need to fine tune and want to know exactly what I'm doing wrong. Be it eq's or phrasing, or what not.

Thanks in advance if you give it a shot

IF you click the link it will stream it, but to D/L right click and choose Save Target As...

damn... theres a LOT of talent on bL.
I appreciate all good music, so Im gonna try to check out most of them listed in the thread and then review each of them on here,
So for what they are, here are:
-My reviews-

Ticka: i did feel like John Travolta, Your mix kept me moving the entire span so thats 2 thumbs up from me. While not usually what I listen to, I still liked your track selection and your style. Definitely something that could get me moving before i go out to the clubs..

Wunderkid: Niice. A lot of raw ass beats/tracks that got me groovin and feelin it, and I reallly liked your mixing. Nice build-ups and drops, a lot of chill-bump type of shiz. There were a few spots that didnt sound 'perfect'.. but :shrugs:... I wish could be a better critic but I can tell you is that it will see more than a few plays from me (ill let you know if i catch anything i dont like when i got it turned up loud)

dj meghan: While not usually my preference I enjoyed a lot of your mix. I really liked the start, 36min mark, and then at around 45:00 I got hooked for the rest of the mix! Everything was on point and I have few friends that are gonna really enjoy getting a copy!

sicc:16: My kinda shiz. I loved it... I loved the track selection.. loved your style/mixing. nothing I can say bad about this one, its gonna be one of those i drag around with me to make other people listen to *lol*. id really appreciate your input on my mix... maybe give me some pointers

R.mack: Nice chill music. Its really not my flavor of kool-aid and was too minimal to keep my complete focus at first but then i reallly liked it from 40:00 on.

Sea Monkey: At first I didnt think I was going to be feeling it (just personal preference on the first few tracks), but then around 20min into it I started groovin. I really liked it from then on, especially at times. Your transitions were sweet, and I think the flow through out the entire mix was well laid an played. Overall it was an extremely nice break from my normal chunes and Ill definitely be listening to it more..

dj DannyUhOh: Although not what Ive been listening to lately, your club mix was sweet. While theres a few tracks that I skimmed through most of its the kind of stuff that I cant help but like no matter how much I dont want to *lol*, even having a few of those chunes myself. Not something that id listen too a lot, but something Im gonna keep around for when Im feeling the need.

Dj Tronic: damnit... I thought I didnt like house/hardcore anymore *lol*. Your cd changed that. Right from the start it had me moving. Really nice house cd, imo. Nice hard tracks yet not 'too' hard (for the most part), nice mixing, nice flow... Something I wouldve dropped some cash on back in the day when I listened to a lot of house and you had to pay for cds. Ill be banging this mix in the ride from time to time.

Eklectik: Beautiful mix. Had me feeling it throughout.. Nice tracks, perfect flow. Something I can pop in the cd player whenever.. also have a few friends that I know would like a copy.

rabbi: Ive told you before I really liked all your mixes. Your track selection always pleases me no matter what style your mixing. A few of your mixes have spent years in the front pages of my cds. Keep it up.

Feel free to make copies as you see fit. I appreciate your feedback man!

Thank you, and you are right, it is not all perfect, but I've only been doing this for about a year, and I am still perfecting it. Glad you liked it though and I will definately post more when I make it.
