Discussing drugs on the phone or by SMS

I try keep phone talk to a minimum. Unless I'm on an outside line AND they are on their "work" number. Even then it's kept to very few discrete words formed in a proper sentence. Not some bullshit like "Yo it's snowing today, did you get any over there? Cuz I know I we've been wanting some snow to go skiiing and shit." Maybe to some of you that seems okay. But no. That's doesn't fly with people I know. We have to talk in ways that are very minimum when it comes down to the product, while at the same time not TOO short to flag it as a drug call - if that makes sense. Like you know how lots of people use code that both sides understand on the first try? Yea well the code we use is most times made up on the spot. And its up to the other person's intelligence to figure out what the fuck was really being said. Sure, sometimes its a hassle and causes confusion. But better safe than sorry.

any regular drug user or small time dealer who thinks that their cell phone is being tapped thinks way too highly of themselves. it comes down to a cities money and resources, and if you think a municipal police department is going to waste either on your daily habit you're honestly trippin.

saying shit by text or answering machine is a stupid idea because if you get arrested they can easily go through that shit, phone you're straight unless it's tapped, and if it's tapped you're fucked anyway.

i dont use any code for any drugs (pills, weed, etc) because i know i dont deal and i know my phone isnt tapped. im just a low level user who has never ever dealed anything. ill straight up say " ill take 50 of those 15s on the next refill". it doesnt matter to me

there's one person that sells me weed and he makes me use code. we use to work in the same pizza shop so i brought back the code that me and a previous co worker used back in the day which is

8th- slice
quarter- 2 slices
half- 4 slices or a "a half of pizza"
oz- large pizza
gram- pizza toppings

im not high enough on the food chain to give a shit about using code.

in general, i don't think the messages are what's going to get you caught. however, they can use them as evidence for conspiracy charges, which is why it's still a good idea not to say anything incriminating (even in code) via text message. and if they're listening in on your phone calls, you're either fucked already or high enough up in the game to know what you're doing.

Honestly this is a quite selfish attitude for a buyer... What if you incriminate the guy you're buying from on the phone because you just didn't give a shit and made it clear he's selling drugs to you? I never understood why people absolutely HAVE to talk about drugs, doing them, buying them, selling them, whatever over the phone, often rather explicitly. I mean ffs, if you insist on using a phone you could always use some voip software with encryption or something. We have the internet these days if calling up to simply meet is inadequate.

Man, where I live the police is known to tap peoples phones who don't even use or deal drugs if they have happened to call someone who was under surveillence for whatever reason. It's no USA, illegally obtained evidence is still useable in courts too. Ofcourse they won't arrest someone who doesn't use drugs, but you know, they might still search their homes if they feel like it. We actually had a huge fiasco where the police would go over the sales records of a legit gardening store selling equipment for greenhouses, and they did a search to EVERY single address they had sold something, searching huge amounts of homes with nothing but chili and tomatoes growing under HPS lights...

Anyway, you never know, so why not play it safe? I don't put an antenna on my head every time I go outside and there's a lightning storm even though the risks of getting hit by lightning are still somewhat minimal.

my "dealer" who is a kid that runs his coworkers 15s to me once a month is my only normal dealer and he doesnt use code either. call me selfish but no fucks are given when it comes to code. there is most definetly bigger fish to fry then the kid that can get dialudid and roxis once a month plus the weed i buy every 2 weeks.
