Did you drop out of highschool?

I dropped out of highschool because I was arrested a few times, then violated probation, then got sent to the psych ward for heroin addiction. They convinced my mom to send me to hardcore rehab programs until the day I turned 18.

My life never really got back on track after that. Institutionalized from a young age.
A long term rehab, 2 year program by chance?

They were the infamous "troubled teen" programs in Utah. I spent 4 months in their insane wilderness isolation program, then 8 months in their "therapeutic boarding school", which was essentially just juvenile jail. I only got one 10 minute phone call per week, and some asshole was sitting right next to me the whole call. That program was shut down about 10 years ago for child abuse.

Woof, that is a tough run. I went through a long term, 2 yr, rehab. The state intervened at times, Nc. I gained a lot from it all things considered. Pretty sure it's still running. As to the original question I am 1 test away from getting my Ged, Math.

I also wanted to become a pilot, but it was almost impossible for me as a girl then. One of the few videos I like watching on YouTube are aviation videos.
I flew glider, once, though (with a flight instructor sitting in the back, of course)

@lecroute

Mr. Krinkle::
I wanted to be a pilot but I failed an eye test when I almost joined the Air Force....so I became a mechanic instead

You should look into Flight sims. 👍

I put about 12 hours a week flying 747's in one. It's peaceful and healing looking at the world from a birds eye view.

Don't you need lots of high tech computer equipment for that?
Through I had a mobile game on my old tablet where you could fly a turboprop I think it was. Was pretty basic, and it took some time to learn how to move the device in order not to crash. Good brain training in any case.

MSFS Runs on XBOX as well as PC
If you stay at 1080P the requirements aren't that high. It scales pretty well across a lot of hardware. You can google the specs

Yeah, luckily the state dropped my criminal record after completing the program(s).

I am also just 2 credits away from graduating, and ironically have a 3.8 GPA on my transcript. I was a smart kid.

This might sound dumb because I’m actually going to use Paris Hilton as a reference, but are you referring to the same type if place she went to?

lol, no

it was a place for fucked up kids, not rich ones

most were court ordered to be there

I just meant something along the same line of weird, fucked up, hateful places in Utah for troubled teens that did far more harm than good.
she was a bad reference. Just the first thing that popped into my head.

interesting, did you ever felt like all this was done on purpose because you got close to something other than whatever action you did, am saying if anyone from there already knew what's happening with you and gave you some shoulder padding.

juveniles usually consist in tough role modeling.

Long story actually, went freshman year, had all A's and B's, skipped 36 days in a row (stole the landline) came back, took the test. Ended up with a C+ but in the pre-lecture to truancy court. I blew that school off.

I than went to a montessori where I gathered enough credits to have graduated. (and therefor did); however they tried to insist I finish the year even though I had nothing to do) So I left. They did not call my name at graduation; but they ended up being "audited for credits" where it came out that I did indeed graduate. So yea I got the diploma, it didn't come in until after I took and passed the GED however, so take your pick I spose.

Than did five years in college but never really focused down on a major. (my tuition was free)
