And yes, I used to do a small sniff/taste test with all the stuff I tried. The time I got the supposed "raw", I have no real way of knowing what it was, but the times when I could tell it was Benadryl it was because I've sniffed/tasted several Benadryls in my day, and that stuff was it! Relating to the Opana bags, it was a very educated guess because the powder always would clump together in my nose, and the guy I bought it from said "don't try to shoot this stuff or it'll clump up in your rig and you'll waste the fuckin' shot." Eventually, a few weeks into this whole Opana-sold-as-H deal, I got my hands on some real Opana and discovered it had a distinct musty taste, and that it clumped just like the H I had been getting. I then snorted some of the dope and tasted the drip and...sure enough...Opana. So that's how I came to the conclusions I did. I'm out of this whole scene now, though, guys, and I'm quite happy about it. I am still on 1/2 to 1 mg of Suboxone a day, but I'm very stable and have a few months to quit. Opiates were ruining my life when I was buying them constantly and always trying for the nod, but best of luck to all of you! I hope you guys can either manage to keep getting by and be happy on dope, or come to realize that there's more to life and clean up.

i know how you feel. My guy was always telling me it was better to mainline cause you bypass the liver? (that does not sound right . I think snorting by passes the liver?)..any way he showed me the steps and than he would filer the fix thru cotton.
What's it mean when you can just add watter to your dope and it read to go.

if you are referring to me, not so amazing, not really.
I was scared off by all the diseases and such associated with a works,
And to buy a syringe at the time, there was a state law you needed a scrip from a doc and it had to be for IV diabetes or some other condition.
I saw my guy "clean Up" a used works and re package it and sell it as a new one. He sold it to a another junky, but it still Bothered me.
My guy is also my friend and so some times it's hard watching what he had to do to survive.
There was one time I had to stop him. An18 year old girl who'd been inhaling H for months came to my guy to cop and Go IV for the first time. my guy was willing to oblige. He goes for the works he just used. I got very angry and slapped him silly.
He yelling WTF, WTF?
The girl was the daughter of my cousin. She didn't know me but I did know her from family gt togethers. Norma was her name and I grabbed her arm and pushed out side and to her car.
Of course she was screaming like a banshee 'til she took a good look at me and realized I knew her mom and dad. She sped off.
I told my guy if she wants to buy she is old enough to make her own decisions
but he better not shoot her up. My guy was all "Yeah..yeah no prob Thero"
Norma died five years later by OD. But it was not my guys dope nor had he taught her to shoot.
Can you imagine how I felt at the funeral? I couldn't look her parents in the eye.
I just shook my head. I can't be anybody's keeper . Doper do what they are going to do.
The dirty works my guy was going to use was an exception. What my guy was trying to do for a buck was not right . But norms being family and young, if I hadn't interfered, at least in this one case, I would have not done right.

I hear ya. I found it pretty amazing I could walk in CVS and buy as many needles as I wanted to. I only shared once with my cousin and still didn't feel right and never did it again. When I went to rehab I got all checked out and was clean, thank God. I've been off "the stuff" for 6 months now with no plans to go back. I've only drank a few times in that period as well, and did xanax once and didn't even enjoy it. Towards the end I NEEDED the stuff, but the high wasn't even as good as taking 5 viks except for the rush. I always cold capped my fix too, never cooked it up simply cuz that was the way I was shown. I'm not gonna play that game anymore, there's no such thing as a "social heroin user" ya know? Narcotics Anonymous has been great for me only because I know I WANT to stay clean. ok, so I think everybody has heard me bitch and complain about how back in the day when I was using how bad all the shit was I found.
My guy was a good at finding the good stuff when it was around. Only trouble was nothing around.
So i go visit my guy who is now three months clean. We're buds but I had to stay away from him least I relapse.
He was had a lot more meat on his bones when I saw him. This is one good guy and he gave me a big bear hug which I returned. He looks good and he speaks with a clarity I had not heard since before he started using.
We went to lunch and talked about old times. he brought up the time time I did a dime bag that had triple the the usual quantity. He warned me not to do it but I said "hey, it the same shit dope we been getting. The worst that can happen is I get a little tingle". Well I didn't get a tingle but I did pass out into my lunch.
EMS cam and said "I know what the deal is. Either leave the restaurant now or I take you by force to the hospital".
So we had a few chuckles over that and i ask him if the dope is still shit. around the hood. He just smiles and says "see for your self".

And on topic, I had some Detroit dope from some boys I know that post up in Ohio every summer about 2 weeks ago and I got to say I miss the big ass chunks of d every fall when they go back home. Nothin like gettin a chunk of dope you can just chip pieces off of for like a week. If my whip wasn't jacked up I would be out that mufucker a lot more like I usually do in the summer, but in the meantime at least there's some fire stamps close by.

Detroit Heroin is my main reason for coming to BL. I just find it entertaining. Ive been accused several times of "fishing" for sources, Ive been in Detroit for over 20 yrs, I dont need any new sources, I can walk out my front door and ask any of a number of ppl,where the best is, I dont need to go online, and honestly, Ive seen a lot of accusations of ppl trying to find a new source when really its just folks talking.
To stay on topic, here on the East Side shit has been pretty good.

^There used to be more city heroin threads, but when Shake was mod he changed the rule to "no city specific threads" (it's the first or second sticky on this forum) and was closing the city threads when they got to 1000 posts. The Detroit one just still hasn't gotten to 1000 posts so that's why it hasn't been closed and all the other ones have. I guess you just thought Detroit was that special haha.
In Shake's posts tho it says what I quoted above about how if the city thread has a good track record it might get remade, but I don't think any other city was remade. That's why I was askin about this, one it seems like people try to limit their posts just so it don't get to 1000 and get closed.
The city specific threads require a lot of extra attention. If this finished up in two months, and NASADD is crazy busy at that time, then we probably wouldn't create a new one. You can always post in the regular heroin thread.

Need Advice from people in Ypsi
I have been a long time member of this site but have not visited in a while and not only did the email I used get deleted from lack of use, but now I have no way to get my old user name or pass word.
Anyways, I need some advice. I have obtained a lot H in Ypsi for a very long time from various people with quality no so good. As least I can say so because I could do 500 mgs(yes this is correct) at once, although I could do 50mgs of pure Dilaudid as well.
As most without regular friends, I have been ripped off a lot. Recently I went to a regular local area and found someone that said they could hook me up. They told me where to meet them and I made a purchase of quite a bit from a person that was the spouse. When I got it, it was brown sugar which made me extremely pissed and I do not take getting ripped off and people now that.
I contacted the person that gave it to me and he said he did it to make sure I was legit because he had never dealt with me. He said he would call me in 2 days and give me what I paid for. I know his spouses car and license plate as well as his car and plate. When I called him today, he apologized and said the heat has been bad recently and he had to do it to make sure I was legit. He also said he understood why I was so pissed, but he said he had to do it to make sure I was legit. He said he will call me in 2 days and give me what he owes me without any problems and he will deal with me again, which I said would be in his best interest.
My first question is this a scam or do people do this, especially when I know them?
Do you think he will give me what he owes me? He did seem sincere and said he wanted to check me out first by seeing my reaction to the stuff after he gave it to me. He was definitely a roller as he was driving a really expensive car(not to many people ripp off people for a few dollars when they drive that). Has anyone heard fo this? Is this the sign of a GOOD person to know, especially if I am a long time friend?
Can you give me a suggestion where to meet him that is safe but semi private(no cops)so nothing can happen?

Well I would say that no people don't do this. I hope everything turns out OK for ya though but, please be careful. The safest way to do this exchange would be at a public place. If you're uncomfortable with the person and itt sound like you are I would even do the exchange inside of a store. IME it's very common around here for dealers to even have you meet them in a store to deal for their own safety. Especially if they don't know ya. The last thing you want to do is meet this guy somewhere out of they way especially seeing that he has essentially already ripped you off before. You should at least do the deal in a parking lot where there's other people around for your own safety.
It sounds to me like he just needed your money for himself and that he's waiting to get paid or something to get it back to you if her does at all. That said if you don't get anything from him just cut your losses and move on. Every user gets burnt. There are no rules on the street and if you're dealing with fellow junkies it's really only a matter of when not if. There is no need to make any threats or engage in any violence as that will likely just make things worse for you in the long run. People like that always get what they deserve eventually so just take it as a lesson learned.
Be sure to do a test bump/shot/whatever when you do cop. It sounds like you are not very experienced so be easy with it at first to gauge how strong the dope is. We don't need ya to OD on us. Be safe man
