Describe a Bluelighter you have met recently.

Well, Ive met 3 bluelighters to date (was it only 2 weeks ago? jesus) and I thought it was worthy of a post.

Longer stories follows, or just skip to the meat =D (you know you love the meat)

I only saw these guys on the Friday night after a work related cocktail party. The free drinks ran out pretty quick so I bailed early (9pm). After a brief chat with Pop Popavich on the phone, I was told to go to a pub in Richmond where himself, DeeCee and Muzby were hanging out.

"Goto the TAB section. You'll know its us because we're the youngest and loudest in the place (shouting at the greyhounds)"
Riiight

When i get there:
Muzby: "Hey <Popavich>, your boyfriend's here"
(huh? what? oh! its Muzby ... mental note: dont listen to anything he says)

After 10 minutes of trying to match bluelight headspace with social real life, I feel like I'd known these guys for ages ... and I start looking forward to a top night out in Melbourne

... and so it began

After many pubs, lots of random chats and good laughs we end up at Popavich's place. Muzby vanished earlier under suspicious circumstances. So we sit outisde and talk Douglas Adams, bluelight and general incomprehensible bullshit as the sun comes up.

DeeCee: I liked chatting to him, instantly worthy of trust. He dances like he loves it, which is why he is so damn good at it (jelous). He is a genuinely one of the good guys, but dont know how comfortable he is with that outdated idea

Muzby: Never got much of a chance to chat, but got to see you in action. Antics ahoy! Remind me never to let you near anything i own =D

Pop Popavich: Love this guy. Finding that balance between intelligence, restraint and when to cut lose is an art: decadence done right. Happily chat, fiend, or hangout anytime!

Thanks for the warm reception in Melbourne guys

m4dd0g: have to admit I was a little intimidated about meeting this guy because his razor-sharp personality on bluelight and the exploits of his last Melboune visit preceeded him but... what can I say.... we clicked immediately. Robin you are a really cool guy and I like you a lot :) You still have to meet my fiance and warn him off Grand Theft Auto "yo nigger nigger Dawg" fucking version-whatever-it-is.

Mary Poppins: Sweetheart, you are gorgeous :) I'm so glad to have made your aquaintence finally and to tell you in person the personal reasons why I couldn't meet you last time. You are so good to cuddle and hold hands with, and you are just as much of a sparkling personality as I envisaged :)

nickyj:you're exactly how I thought you would be ;) ;)

zephr: You sexy BIATCH! I swear to god, if I hadn't had to come home, you would have been in serious trouble girl ;)

breakabeat: Totally shattered whatever illusions/predjudices I had about you.... Mel I think you are really beautiful, like a really beautiful looking girl ;)... um, I think you were smashed and so was I and you left early but well, hey.... in another parallel lifetime and all that.. you know ;)

astrosmurf: Goddamnit, I didn't spend NEARLY enough time with you my dear!! I'm so sorry. However, I will always treasure our trips to the bushes to have a pee, and I think that's about as close as two girls can get and I'm glad I peed with you. =D

Potato ben, Pop, Butros, Miss Slingshot, Magpi, Meg, L-space, KB... everyone else... was fucking great to see you again. Hope you all recover okay tomorrow. Love you's all ;) <3

Alrighty, coming into a net cafe to plur on about you folk seemed liek a good idea about half hour ago but am not physically capable of stringing a sentence together yet. Took me this long to type that. Gota visit the bottle shop and recharge the booze tanks. I really need to find out where to get persian cheese from.

Anyway...I shall list the blrs I have met and suitably stroke their egos as soon as I remember hat the hell Im going on about. :)
 
up all night - This chicky braved coming over to meet a small group of people she'd never met. Very admirable! Then she started getting drunk... haha TRASHY BITCH! ;) I'm glad I got to meet her... and will do so again in three weeks when she comes to Melbourne. I've apparently got the job of letting her know who the cool folk are!

Definately a very nice girl. With good looks. yayayayay

Please stay away from bad relationships though. Please. xox <3

Up All Night - And we were... up all night!! As Doppleganger said, you braved it with a bunch of peeps you didnt even know which is a really brave thing to do!
You rock :) We had an awesome trashy night and its totally awesome I met someone who lives just around the corner, more trashy nights to come me thinks.
Oh yeah, I think she wants me to hire me as her own personal maid ;)
 
How fucking good is the Melbourne crew??!! I had so much fun down there it should have been illegal. I’ve met waaaaay too many BLers to write about here so I’m going to play favourites and only write about a few. But needless to say I liked everyone I met and I can’t wait to do it all again real soon

Zephyr- I finally got the chance to meet up with her again for the 1st time since the vietnam war and I’d have to say it was fucking awesome! We had a fuck load of fun together, she’s just as funny in real life as she is online. And what a fiend! Definately the best fiending partner I’ve had in quite some time. I will definately be travelling across the country to party with her again as soon as possible. Much <3 for teh Liz! :D Oh, and as SLM said, she is one very sexy biatch

Potato- To be honest I’d never paid a lot of attention to his posts in the past (must be that blank avatar) but I certainly will from now on. Funny as fuck, genuine nice guy, and a quality fiend who held himself together exceptionally well. Much respect :D

1234- Not as tall as I was expecting, I feel like I want my money back or something. Didn’t get to spend as much time with him as I would have liked but found him very likeable and a funny bastard too. And he’s yet another person who thinks I have a sexy voice :X

iamtha1- This girl rawks! Probably my favourite of the Melbourne ladies, really nice, funny, very cute and takes up very minimal space ;) Some how she called me a horny bastard even tho I didn’t even hit on her once, this makes me question her judgement of character

SLM- Wow, I had a shit load of fun with her :D The dirty talk was “coming freely”, hell, it was even “coming in bucket loads” ;) Fuckin hilarious. And when instructed to grope Liz’s bewbs for a photo she certainly didn’t disappoint

Breakyaself- I didn’t spend enough time with her :( But we did have a couple of good shit speaks and I certainly liked her just as much as I like her online self. And she’s even better looking in real life too ;)

Katmeow and Ozbreaker- Great house mates! Living with a bunch of people you’ve never met before for the duration of a massive drug binge never worked out so well. Let’s do it again!

KemicalBurn- Only very vaguely resembles his online personality. Which I think is a great thing, I can stop hating the bastard now ;)

Blossom- I had a few really good chats with this girl. Seems very smart and funny, I liked her a lot. Hopefully she can remember that great bit of intelligence that came out of my mouth during a conversation with her at Potato's place, something like: "Aren't smelling and hearing the same thing?" By far the best sentence I produced that week

I think that’ll do for now. Many thanks to the entire Melbourne crew for one of the best times of my life! :D And another special thanks to Popavich for all his hospitality. See you all next time
 
hmmm well...i thought i met a lot of bluelighters last time i was in melbourne - but this time i got to knock a whole 'nother bunch off my hit list - from far AND wide :)

bloss0m - wow this chick is severely underrated...not that that means that i think she gets rated badly, but words cannot express how much fun i had with this girl =D too many quotes, moments of laughter so hard you can't breathe as well of lots of interesting conversations. 5 gold stars :)

m4dd0g - anyone who surprises me automatically gets HUGE love from me, and besides that i think he would have done alright anyway ;) i was really disappointed i didn't get to chat to him more - he seemed to catch me at the worst times :( but the times i did get to chat to him i found him just as i expected, witty, perpicacious and enormously interesting to mull things over with

SLM - it was so good to finally meet this girl, and it's easy to see why people are drawn to her both on and offline. she radiates a real inner warmth and i felt so comfortable around her - definitely someone i'd like to spend more time with :)

butrosbutros_grantos - i was actually quite scared to meet this guy as i thought he hated me, but if he does, i still like him heaps. absolute gold...from krunk to bocce to allowing me exception from the dumb queenslander rule, he was fantastic value :)

moebro - despite thinking that i didn't want to meet him last time, i was actually annoyed i didn't get the chance to :p so was glad to catch up this time. a genuinely nice guy who made me laugh and was trashy to the max!

katmeow - this girl is great. someone who i really value the opinion of - she's intelligent, fair and witty. and unexpected - a hardkore fiend!!!!!!!! don't believe the rumours kids - this girl doesn't stop!

zephyr - though i mostly know her from LJ, it was so good to be able to put a face to the entries. seemingly endless energy, a very warm and giving person and so easy to talk to :)

as well as this, thank-you as always to the bluelighters i'd already met, who helped make my trip so memorable and fun :) - you know who you are!

Wowsers, I'm really pissed off I didn't get to spend more time with you chatting. Had a great little chat at the wine cheese fiend thingy. And you seem like an awesome guy. For someone to actually read what I post and then be able to dissect it to the seriousness that I do try to put in there. But you're deffinatly right, there are some people out there who although they do joke all the time, when they post something stupid and funny, there sometimes is usually a serious point that they're making ;)... And I've taken alot of what you've said on board, you may see a bit of difference in my postings from now on. Thanks heaps. In short m4dd0g kicks ass, intelligent and deffinatly knows what's going on ;)

And should be posting in Social more often. I was lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time with this girl the other night. Now hurry the fuck up and move to melbourne :P hehe. If you EVER get the chance to meet Zephyr do it, I promise You won't be dissapointed :D
