Delta 8 THC Megathread

Cannabutter on toast this morning. Some leftover medicated red lobster biscuits as well.

Delta-8 is a very cerebral high, very stimmy, clear headed. What you expected a pure sativa extract to be.
 
just jumped in to say that the high is weed-like but having trouble with the harshness. lowest temp and very thin draws. no smoke hardly when exhaled and i do not hold it in. maybe im just a p-boy...? 🤷‍♀️
just started this journey and may have to stick to weed in a glass bowl.
haven't tried edibles but may.
what i got was more indica-ish but surely they have the effects fined tuned?
lemme know what ya think as i cannot smoke it feels like its taking my breath away and may be getting "high" from lack of oxygen. lol

I have the same problem, just hit mine and puked. Though I have the same effect from delta 9 distillate.

Is it as harsh as delta 9? Been reading that it is a bit milder on the lungs never tried that yet.
Maybe one has to be initiated and acclimated to putting vapor (as opposed to smoke) in the lungs may be a reason I find the vapors so extremely harsh? I think further study is need (on my part) as I do like the high. ;)

Damn, the whole reason I switched was because d9 products were too intense, psychedelic, and wakeful; d8 lets me mellow out and helps with sleep and I can even vape it at the peak of psychedelic trips and it doesn't make me wig out. I can even vape it in public.

I've been smoking on mostly distillate and concentrates for like 2 years, if one could grow accustomed to it i would have. I've known ppl that don't even cough from dabs tho so idk. Maybe its cause I smoke cigarettes. But yeah seems very similar to delta 9

Interesting, when I smoke normal weed or dabs if I don't have a huge tolerance it usually gets me laying down. Delta 8 even orally can be somewhat manic for me, on the other hand

Yeah I like the low profile plasticky aroma... lol maybe it is the taste that has that. Very mild so not off putting.
I did get a lemon diesel vape cart that I screwed to the battery of a dry herb pen and can handle a little more of that than the straight distillate or whatever it is. Maybe I can diffuse the distillate in something and fill carts? Ya know... maybe dilute to make it more "palatable" to the lungs?
Seems like a looooot of trouble to me just to get my buz on.
The bud (d8 infused)I got I tried in the dry herb pen and it kinda tasted like male weed. But it got me high. To be fair I may have to roll one as that dry herb pen seems gimmicky besides the battery. Don't wanna put it in the weed pipe yet.
Still fuckin with it but the tea leaves are reading a bit cloudy so maybe it will rain.

That d8 sprayed bud is a rip off, I mean so are the cartridges but the bud barely has an effect to the pure stuff. But for the price of two cartridges you could buy multiple ounces online from wholesale distributors. It's much cheaper than weed because its just converted from cbd
 
Ah, yes, I was actually about to start a thread for this. Let me tell you guys what I've learned. Delta-8 THC has a completely separate tolerance from Delta-9 THC. I am a heavy smoker and sometimes don't even get high off of weed or its extracts anymore. Yesterday though (for example), I took a dab of Delta-8 THC I got from the store in a little syringe, just a normal-sized dab that I would have taken of regular THC to get me stoned. I was expecting a regular-level high (probably because I had forgotten about the last time I tried this stuff), and I was floored. When I say floored, I meant I had to get in the bed and lay down. And then I had to remind myself that I had stuff to do. lol. I am now enjoying a tolerance break from Delta-9 THC and using Delta-8 THC instead (which I haven't used yet today, either). By the time I go back to smoking regular weed, I expect it to knock my socks off! I recommend this stuff to everybody who likes cannabis lol
I do smoke the CBD buds infused with Delta-8 oil also. Those are very nice. I don't vape them, I smoke, so the effects are probably more pronounced for me. But it's that extract that really hits me like Mike Tyson

Yeah its pretty strong but so short lived. I seriously miss normal thc.
