Dexies in my opinion are much more useful if you are wanting to study for long periods.
However, they do give you a fair bit of energy in high doses, but have a shitty comedown, particularly for a drug that has a rather mild high.
If your not experienced with them start out low, and be sensisible with how often you use them, they can be addictive.

Does this work?
better than orally or snorted?

Do (Sigma Pharmaceuticals) Dexamphetamine melt under the tongue like Ritalin does?

Dexamphetamine certainly works well plugged - though I have found that I "crash" more severely than if taken orally \ nasally.

I've only done it a couple times with around 40mg.

Onset was NICE and fast! Quite "rushy" and euphoric - can't get effects like that from snorting... unless you're dealing with refined dex.

Personally though, I prefer staggering doses of dex... just having a high dose isn't that great because - they wear off
And when they wear off you're not happy

So it's either have more, or dump some benzo's and sleep.

Have not tried plugged methylphenidate.

Sigma D5's do indeed melt under your toungue... but they're less pleasant than, say, temaze or MP10's.
They're a larger tablet too.

Once you get the hang of it though, you can generally avoid the taste.

Great for waking up in the mornin... swallow one tab and pop one under your toungue for instant action

Friend of mine a while ago gave me this little tip - push 2-3 dexies into a piece of hubba bubba and chew away!

The high sugar content of the gum cancels out the nastiness of amphetamine - I find 3d's are fine, not taste too bad.

Because you're chewing away, the dex is dissolved and then absorbed sublingually - like sticking it under your toungue but faster and less unpleasant.

Try it and see if it works for ya.

Thanks for exactly answering my questions Armadillio-the first person to do so,

I am scripted Rubifen mp10s (Ritalin) 7 daily and ALWAYS take them subligually-much faster onset 5-10 mins, and completely ignore the taste. I always like to have control over my meds actions-onset even benzos i take sublingually-always have.

1) question thought how does Dex d5s differ in their come on time and length of action over mp10s rubifen/ritalin?- 2-3 hrs sublingually-I have read they last longer before the 'crash' 4-5 hours?

I am hoping to try d5s soon when i see a specialist, but here in New Zealand Rubifen is used MUCH more, most Pharmacies don't even have D5 Dex made in Sydney Clayton i believe?

hey man, not knocking you at all cause all your questions are genuine and that's what this sites about......but whats the obsession with ritalin and dexies?.........there is so many better drugs out there, but i guess if you are scripted them it is a hell of a lot cheaper....

dexamphetamine is beautiful - pharmaceutical amphetamine!

So clean.

I've only ever really enjoyed ritalin when insufflated with other stims (meth or dex) and combined with alcohol.
Absolutely wonderful synergy I must say

Ritalin by itself I do not really enjoy... Insufflated ~70mgs last week at around noon (was extracted into water and squirted up my nose with an allergy inhaler) and the enjoyable buzziness only lasted for an hour if that - then I felt hot \ uncomfortable and had a strange feeling in my stomach. Not the "im hungry give me more amps" feeling, but just a bit bleh. Wierd.

Will never do ritalin again solo - but that combination was amazing. Felt quite similar to coming up on a pill, IMO

A d under the toungue and one in the belly is great - a relatively instant but smooth onset - think of it as a form of "time release". One is instantly available, the other is available after the initial tab has achieved its effect and boosts it.

Well just make sure you keep control of it - taking pills sublingually is fine, you're just getting a faster onset and it's convenient.

But snorting \ assblasting 'em and you're probably not really focusing on the "therapeutic" aspects

I don't like to snort or plug i know thats abuse, but the 1 sublingual 1 swallowed sounds like a good idea-like a Dex spansual effect (which we in Aus and NZ dnt have ) instant effect then later effects, a good effective way of using the med.

But what i really wanna know is:

does Dex warm up the frontal brain area like rubifen feels like?
How do they differ in their effects? duration?

I've never tried ritalin in a therapeutic sense.

Though when I've taken like three or 4 when out, it's far less stimulating than d's - amphetamines seem to assist in communication while ritalin makes me more thinking about stuff.

So I cant comment on therapeutic effects of ritalin.

Ritalin does seem to take roughly the same amount of time to begin action, but duration is less (then again I was thinking purely in an enjoyment sense).

So yeah I can't say - but d's make me able to concentrate on shit and actually *enjoy* myself lol

Dex is said to be more pro-social
while many have said and I have noticed it makes me want to study and read more than actually socialise *with others* apart from family. I tend to read and spend FAR more time on the Puter while on a fair dose of Rit-anti-social i guess

Meh - I spend a lot of time on computer anyway, stims just make me more set onto what I'm doing \ reading \ researching instead of constantly flicking between different things. Still do that tho.

I find methylphenidate to be much more euphoric, I get intense moments of inisght, much like on 4mar, I actually think 4mar feels alot like methylphenidate.
I find dexamphetamine to be much more 'amphetaminey' if that makes sense. More charged up, less moments of profound insight and much more concentration.

Yeah I'd agree... when taken with alcohol, methylphenidate does indeed produce lovely euphoria :D

(Mix both + alcohol and it just kicks ass)
