it acts as a form of GABA that can enter the BBB as GABA itself can't cross the BBB.
It most certainly does enter the BBB, but it does not act like GABA itself, it increases it's production.

i ment GABA itself can't cross the BBB, i know pregabalin can.
i think you are right, as i read that pregabalin acts as a GABA precursor therefore would end up with increased GABA.
damn science can be confusing.
