Is that for real, KC? ????? That pin??? That looks as those parts of metal are breaking off into my blood stream every time i use????????
yikes.
yikes.
i found this article which shows that bacteria is unlikely to form from reusing syringes/needles in a Nigerian sample of 21 diabetics. i duno.
Keeping them in a sterile environment and practicing good hygiene will help keep needles sterile, but won't prevent them becoming tools of mutilation as shown in xxkcxx's post.
Sometimes i take to reusing the same cottons up to 4x. It feels grimmey - but ....yeah, i am an addict![]()
... have been using the same dull pin for-ev-er. It is bound to break soon. I wish i knew where to get them? or how to keep the ones you have, longer?

if u are anywhere near Mass u can buy pins at cvs or walgreens. just ask for insulin needles at the pharmacy counter. 10 pack for 3$ and all u need is an ID. they sell them over the counter to anyone and everyone that needs em.
good luck
good to know...but not very clear for NJ...
"The requirement for an Rx for syringes may be waived with photo identification."
WTF does that mean? I can get them in a pharmacy if i have my id on me?? "May be waived"??? WTF... i dont want to embarrass myself at the cvs ya know...?

sorry... it is not legal to buy/possess needles in my state. a pin goes for $10 around me. and i would pay that to get it, trust me. if i knew that all you had to do was ask a pharmacist in NY - i would have been doing that for a long time now.
