Heroin Comparing Non-IV Routes

Unfortunatly the results of this poll is compromised i think due to lack of the forgotten option Intra Muscular injection. I had to choose smoking as thats what idd prefer if i could still smoke heroin but my real number 2 to IV would be IM. Also this link about comparing oral diamorphine vs oral morphine http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1429907/pdf/brjclinpharm00230-0066.pdf Is that deffinatly correct that diamorphine Hci is 1.5 times stronger orally than morphine sulphate ? If it is i want some 10mg diamorphine tablets instead of 10mg sevredol lol And they actually work out at the same price to the nhs give or take a few pence each. I wonder if the results would of been different had they used morphine hydrochloride instead of morphine sulphate.

For powder heroin snorting it is awesome and lasts almost twice as long as iv imo but its obviously a lot less intense. For BTH I have only come across it like 2 times in my area and I smoked it. That was pretty great as well and much more euphoric but it didn't last very long compared to the snorted ECP. So for an overall good feeling that lasts for hours I would definitely prefer snorting good ECP than smoking tar. Those are the only 2 ROAs I've tried besides IV.

I find plugging and snorting to be very similar in effect. Plugging might hit a bit faster and harder if you've emptied your bowels, fully dissolved the heroin in a syringe, and shot it at the right depth; but on average, snorting hits faster. I both snort and plug to spread out the damaging effects - give both my nose and butt longer drug-free periods. I've never IV'ed, and I don't often get #3 heroin for smoking.

Oral is definitely the least harmful to health, but it's too wasteful. If I were a multi-millionaire, I'll probably only eat opiates.

I'm not going to vote since I've only snorted and smoked. But smoked was better, albeit lasting a lot shorter. I like my much more intense highs though even if they fade quick. I like my IV opiates, just never tried IV heroin, and hope I don't.

Plugging honestly is 90% up there with IV in terms of 99% of drugs, but the problem is we're talking opiates here, who really has emptied their bowels fully? If you plug without doing so, the results are diminished. I love plugging, but when it comes to opiates, unless I don't have a habit to maintain, then it's not a good choice.

Didn't think of that! Plugging definitely works great for occasional users who don't have 5 days of poop backed up, but might not work so well for maintaining a habit.
