Heroin Comparing Non-IV Routes

What is the most desirable route of adminstration for heroin other than IV?

Yes, but I would be careful with "breaking" needle syringes to use for plugging.

I once saw an image for Heroin on Wikipedia in which a broken, sharp end of a syringe was shown as a "method of rectal administration".

That is some spiky / pointy shit yo. Anything works, but an oral syringe, especially the ones that come with an attachable small plastic tube, work best.. :)
 
can we get some waterlining dicussion please? i only have tar available to me and i am a noob at smoking it. i would be down to plug it but first i want to try waterlining. can anyone give me comparisons of that to other ROAs?
 
^good call. There isn't enough discussion of this around here and I think many of us could benefit from learning more.

So come on west coasters, how do you shove that shit up your nose?
 
it seems like mexican tar is taking over and nobody knows how to use it in a way thats socially appropriate other than smoking or IV. smoking is too short and unsatisfying of a high for most, and IV is on another level in terms of drug use habits. it would be awkward to plug some dope with your friends IMHO, not homophobic... just saying. so someone needs to inform the masses of BL about waterlining and its comparison to other ROAs :)

When you snort powder heroin it takes 10-15 minutes to start effecting you and maybe 20-25 minutes until you're peaking. With IV heroin, it all hits you in about 7 to 10 seconds, and then it slowly wears off over the next few hours or less depending on the individual.

There is also a higher bioavailability for IV heroin than snorted.
 
can someone please help me out. i only have tar and i dont want to shoot right now.

whats better- waterlining or plugging?

Snorting seems to be the best route other than IV. In my experience snorting it made it last much longer but It didn't seem to peak as good as it would had i smoked it. Smoking it gives you a really nice high, but it's short. Seems to be over in less than 2 hours which is less desirable in my opinion. I have never plugged H. If i had a syringe on hand i wouldn't go out of my way to prepare the rig to shoot it up my bum if i could easily just IV it for a better high.

I always found when snorting H/anything you should do small lines over like a half an hour or so. It seems like when you just snort one big line less of it is absorbed. I know this is probably common knowledge around here but i figured I'd throw it in there for someone who may not know. I don't know if this is fact or anything but i always seemed to get a lot more high using said method.
 
Has anyone tried it sublingually? I swear I snort dope but when the drips come down instead of swallowing them and wasting them in my stomach, I cough the drips under my tounge and let them absorb orally. It def is more efficient. All these ppl saying heroin doesnt work under the tounge have to be talking from opinion. I bet none of them have actually tried it. In my opinion nothing in this site is true unless I tried it myself, cuz I have found the contrary to many posts.
 
After reading lots n' lots of topics about this, it seems that the general consensus is that #4 is preferable in case of administering H rectally.

Another thing i noticed is, that it's mostly the IV-Users, which prefer plugging over intranasal administration.

Any more input eventually :?
 
I've never plugged heroin or used orally but smoking is by far my fave.
There is too little of a rush with snorting it.
Take a fatty toke, let it out, smile and laugh :D
 
I've never plugged H. The nasal route works great for me. I just make sure to cut it into small enough pieces that I don't get a post-nasal drip for a while.

For tar, I LOVE smoking. God I miss getting tar.
 
What i can say for sure is, that plugged administration is more efficient, i.e. a lower dose is needed for effects. I cannot say much about qualitative differences in the resulting buzz atm, but plugging #4 is without doubt a great deal more preferable if you want get the most out of it.
 
I always IV Heroin, it takes me 15-20 min. to find a vein, sometimes when i'm IV'ing something happened and the needle comes out of the vein and i can't find another vein to shot.
Is it ok to plugged it with some blood in it ??
 
^that should not be an issue. I am not a Dr but I can't see why it would cause a problem. Unless its someone elses blood. Just don't be freaked out when you have dried blood in your BM.

Also, that 1 person who voted oral is either crazy or damn rich.

I vote for nasal, at least until my nose is screwed from prolonged weeks on end of snorting in which it needs a rest. I definitely feel at one point the nasal route starts to be less effective unless a break is taken from nasal ROA. Unfortuantely oral is idiotic, IV I has yet to go down that road, and plugging is a big ? when you are very backed up with constipation from like 3-6 weeks of use. So a break is the only option for me.
 
Since IM or subcutaneous injection aren't options I put snorting, but IM injection is definitely my preferred ROA other than IV. Smoking gives me the best rush of any ROA including IV, I have had the most intense euphoria from smoking but the duration is incredibly short. Rectal use i've only tried once and it works really well but the unpleasantness and inconvenience of putting drugs up your butt puts it lower down the list. In terms of effects only it would be higher up. Snorting is basically a compromise, longer duration than smoking, more convenient than plugging, and way less wasteful and useless than eating, which I would never do, heroin has a terrible oral bioavailability. So if IM and SC aren't options, snorting is the way to go for me.
 
If you are not using the iV route.. then you need to snort.. unless you have trash like BTH.. or GP.. then you're forced to smoke it or choke it. Insufflation is nice.. especially via #4 clean China White. :)
