Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v11

does anyone here work while recovering from invega? the boredom is killing me and it hasn’t even been long for me but it sure does feel long

Nah benztropine is anticholinergic drug not a Benzo, but they sound the same. My psychiatrist won’t prescribe benzodiazepines to me unfortunately.

That s some bullshit especially if your suffering from akathisia they should be more willing to prescribe benzos. Im prescribed 2 benzos bromazepam for panic attacks and clonazepam for general anxiety. I also get zopiclone for sleep.

I know what its like to have a doc that wont prescribe benzos though. The shrink i had for half the time i was in the psych ward absolutely refused to hand out benzos. Even when i managed to get a new shrink she was still in charge of prescring on that floor so i couldnt get any benzos for insomnia or anything. You could tell who her patients where as they where the ones up pacing all night without any meds. Meanwhile you had other people on good meds like temazepam simply because they had a decent doctor

But i would suggest seeing another psychiatrist if they are just refusing to give you benzos. Do you still have the akathisia? If you still do i would def suggest seeing another doctor

were you on invega and how long did it take for you to recover?

I have not had much improvement except more energy, so i dont know if i will be one of those people who never recover. But i hope you recover.

I had 2 good/felt a tiny dopamine days, after 4 Months and 5 days, now i had bad day again laying in bed all day. This medicine is hell.

How cab people feel anxiety on this drug? The drug caused me to barely feel any anxiety
 
Met up with a friend today and my speech seemed a little better. Still had to force conversation it didn't feel natural, but slight improvement.

Energy levels are generally better than while on injections and head is clearer. 56 days since last shot.

Still restless, anhedonic, no appetite, no tiredness and mind is blank. Hoping by christmas I feel a bit more normal and relaxed.
