It’s like if my sleep is very superficial, like if cannot completely fall asleep but only keep semi-sleep, i keep waking every 20 minutes, i cannot fall asleep before 00:00 (12PM) because i don’t feel tiredness, i cannot keep the sleep over the 5AM and i go out of bed like at 7AM, during the day i cannot biologically catch the sleep since it’s impossible to fall asleep, i can only close my eyes but that’all, my brain keep being awake and won’t stop working by himself.

These are some really strange things because i never had this before risperidone, it’s also happen that I have TD while i try to fall asleep in the afternoon, i have ripetitive spasm like TD, and if for some reason i Just manage to fall asleep then I got a simil adrenaline hit that wake me out of nowhere immediately in the moment i start to sleep.
It’s like if my brain process sleep as a life threat and keep me out of it, it’s really wired honestly, never had nothing like that before

Hey all. I'm someone who recovered multiple times from invega. And also other meds. I'm just here to say you can actually live a good/decent life on meds. Avoid those addictions you have and that bad diet. 7-12 months is very short in terms of drug recovery and I even doubt it being damaging. Benzos/Porn I've seen stories of people not recovering for over 5 years. And that's without relapse. Acknowledge the addiction and then see the difference yourself.
I don’t think none of us here have addiction since we cannot simply have response to stimuli and we almos have complete sexual disfunction, i don’t think that masturbate one time every 2-3 days is the problem here.

We are victims of a barbaric practice…

People love to say: “It helps so many people, it just didn’t work for you.”

So because it “helps” some people, the rest of us just don’t even matter right? Hahahaha what a fucking joke

Hi Ammar, how many injections did you get? and how long did it take for you to recover from it?

Have you tried sleeping pills? Im not advocating z drugs here but i take zopiclone for sleep and it works great. I think its addiction potential is somewhat overstated

At the end of the day invega did help me. Psychosis and cotards syndrome was far worse then invega for me. As shitty as invega was i would still take it over that shit. But wth far better drugs like zyprexa around theres no need to prescribe invega.

Not being able to feel sexual attraction or even romantic desire anymore is actually a terrible feeling.

It’s been almost 10 months since my injections. I just can’t do this anymore.

I had zero sex drive on invega and abilify. I didnt get it up for over 2 years because of that shit. However now i have the sex drive of a teenager so hang in there trust me you will get better.

If yor a guy go get your testosterone levels checked. I got mine checked and they where really low and i blame this on the invega and abilify injections. No doubt the opiates i was addicted to years ago didnt help but when got the test done i was not addicted to morphine and was only using it for maybe a week at a time. I am on testosterone replacement therapy and holy shit the stuff works great.

Were you on invega pills or injections? If it was injections than what were your dosages and number of injections and how long did it take to recover?

Do you feel non-sexual love or feelings towards anyone?

You also didnt mention how long your erections last if you do masturbate?

I spoke with a reddit user today, he is 30 months after only one injection and still have sympthoms and only partially recovered some sympthoms, he was misdiagnosed, he never had psychosis.

So it’s seem that the only thing that can assure your recovery is if you had psychosis, then you will recover, if you got misdiagnosed it’s seem that there is no way back.

Prove me wrong.
There's a ton of people who had misdiagnoses who recovered. I don't have a list of links or anything, but they're out there.

The theory that this is actually permanent brain damage is nonsense I think. I don't feel lobotomized anymore, I have feelings again.

It’s exactly that “almost” that scare me. Its these 15 months without improvements that scare me..

Everybody keep saying “The brain has amazing capacity to heal”, but where? I don’t see that in 15 months..
Some people take two years to recover. I'm still not fully recovered because I got PSSD on top of invega and yes, it was exactly as bad as it sounds.

I’ve had pelvic floor issues since before my injections so you shouldn’t use my experience as a judge for your own honestly. My erections have had issues for a few years before this drug. Paranoid android says he recovered so you should listen to him.

And yes, I feel non-sexual feelings of love towards my pets and my friends but it’s not as strong as it was before
