Mental Health Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v 8.0

Y'all had therapists in there? If I had a therapist, I wouldn't have gone down a delusional hole and electively taken invega. I had no one to talk to and by the time I learned you can sort of talk to the nurses because they do know some therapy type stuff as psychiatric nurses, but it was too late and I already decided to take it by then.

Every mental hospital should be equipped with empathetic therapists. Not this social-worker twice a week/psych nurse/joke group therapy bullshit. The worst mental hospitals are the ones that take all the medicaid patients and homeless people, and they're often the people who need the most help, not just some pills and shots.

Mianserin can remove some invega from the brain that might be stuck there. It's not and antipsychotic. It helps PSSD too. Too bad it's not available in the US because somebody gave the FDA false information when it was filed for approval.

Nope we had none. We did have a social worker and psychologist but they have no real power in there the shrinks do. I flat out refused to talk to the nurses as they are horrible people and they tell everything to the shrink anyway.

As bad as the invega was i would still take it over psychosis and cotards syndrome. That shit was hell

I didn't know there was a difference between a therapist and a shrink. We didn't have shrinks either I guess. NO ONE to help talk you out of shit professionally. The nurses only talked to you if you had like, extroverted problems. I was sitting there thinking I was gonna be framed as a pedophile and killed by neo-nazis.

Mental healthcare for the poor in America is a joke. We all deserve better.

Weird that you mention that because when i was in the psych ward i thought i had commited some kind of major crime. I thought this because i didnt think innocent people can be treated like that. Honestly ive been to jail and i preferred that
 
Do you guys realize how many people get injected with this vs how many people on this forum say they never recover ? The truth is the majority of people recover it just takes 12-18 months which is an insanely long time. We really need to get a positive mindset on this forum. If you actually go through all the threads there are a ton of people making a full recovery. I empathize with the people that have not . I am just saying it is very rare.

only around 3-5 percent of people who recover based on my research take longer than 18 months to recover

Now that I know I probably don't have permanent pituitary damage, I think I'll make a full recovery even with PSSD. I'm praying I'll recover from that too.

And most people who get injected don't find this thread! They go on with their lives comforted by the medical professionals and therapists they have that they'll go back to normal, and then they do. I think online spaces like this attract longhaulers and severe cases, and perspective on the medical problem gets skewed. PSSD communities are like this too.

Thats probably because invega fucks your hormone levels. I know it's supposed to nbe pretty bad for lowering test and raising prolactin. Probably explains why i didnt get a hard on for 2 fucking yearfs when i was on invega then abilify

Try zyprexa would be my advice. I was put on it back in january after i had to quit latuda because it gave me akathisia and stopped working. I went on a low carb diet and started lifting weights everyday and i have not gained any fat at all and packed on about 25 or 30lbs of muscle. I am in better shape now then i have ever been
 
That reminds me. This thread is mostly cisgender guys and it needs to be known that Invega also messes with estrogen and progesterone, as well as any gonadotropins, not just testosterone.
 
Guys if I was to get my hormones tested to see what’s been damaged which ones should I check?
