Mental Health Coming off Invega Sustenna (paliperidone)

I've been off the invega poison for 14 weeks now and my energy levels are coming back in bursts. Yesterday I cleaned my house for 8 hours straight... Today I have no energy. I'm finding the energy is coming back in waves. Merry Christmas everyone. Happy holidays for those who don't celebrate Christmas :)

Any ideas on how to get rid of inVEGA Sustenna from the body?

I'd like to know this too. There have to be ways to clear this. Antidotes, foods. One thing I did read:

According to the label for Invega sustenna, enzyme CYP3A4 might be important for eliminating paliperidone. It says that if you take an inducer of CYP3A4 you may need a higher dose for paliperidone to be effective. It later claims that this result is contradicted by other studies, so its unclear. You could try to induce that enzyme. Capsaicin is the only food I found online to induce that enzyme. I never tried it, and I certainly didn't want to take another drug for this purpose, but I wouldnt mind spicy food. Kind of an aside I guess, but it might be worth trying. St. John's wort is a major inducer as well, but its a drug

As an also, if you want a great general detox book, get The Mucuousless Diet Healing System, by Arnold Ehret.

Things are getting better. No longer sleeping 12+ hours a night, but the "efficacy" (if you will) of the medication keeps going in and out in waves. It's curious: by this time the medication should be mostly out of my system: according to my calculations < 1.83 mg is still left. That's not including the daily dose of 6 mg I take daily [orally]. But I've found - like I've said before - that the release of the intramuscular medication is anything but consistent. There were days (few and far between) where the medication seemed to make HUGE dips and I was experiencing what it was like to be - well - me. Even lately - even if just for a few seconds - the same phenomenon seems to occur, where I'll get all sorts of visualizations via second sight and incredibly vivid, just like when I was 21.

I've done some pretty powerful psychedelics in the past and that allowed me - even months to years after being off them and/or completely sober - to visualize things extremely well. Just to give you an idea: there was this castle (in my mind) I would go to sometimes when I would meditate and I had perfectly visualized every single room, chamber, antechamber, and so on within the castle. When I was first given that shot of Risperdal Consta (and then years later moved onto Invega Sustenna), my imagination became so bad that I couldn't even imagine a fucking paper clip. This is not me bragging. This is so people can see how fucking terrible this drug is for you.

EDIT: I realize though that it is a blessing as well as a curse... or a blessing in disguise, whichever. As far as the scientific evidence to support this drug, it does wonders for repairing the damage done from psychotic episodes.

Thank you so much for this. These are the kind of posts we need in this kind of hopelessness. I hate this drug. Same thing here. Powerful imagination, and this drug, murdered me, murdered my imagination.

I'm glad this thread is here, I've been on risperdal but thank god I didn't have the issues many here are having but I was only on small amounts for a month or 2 and I skipped days and sometimes a week so it never had a chance to build up. I was on 4mg a day taken orally but it didn't do anything(like the rest of the psyc meds). Thank the op and all the rest of u who have taken the time to write very informative posts because now I will NEVER take this bullshit, or risperdal again thanks to this thread! I wouldve taken anything If there was even a chance for me to feel anything besides misery but now I see that as bad as I think I have it that it can always be worse, much much worse! I can't imagine the hopelessness and misery u guys feel everyday with no chance of feeling anything near normal for so long until these "meds" clear ur system :(
I feel so bad for all of you and will continue to have u all in my thoughts and prayers and I truly hope u all start to feel a little better ASAP. Good luck and god bless u all! And I thank u all for contributing to this thread even though it's difficult! You all have made a difference because I will never fuck with this poisen, and if it's offered I will seriously consider switching doctors because it'll be obvious that said dr hasn't don't his homework and I don't need that kinda dr in my life. Thank u all!

Welcome to Bluelight.
I think it was Tesla who said, "If you want to understand the universe, think of vibrations". Invega Sustenna kind of creates a lot of distortion within the body and mind, in order to bypass that safely you have to wait it out until the medication is mostly out of your system... but I digress, it's New Years! If you're trying to get drunk on invega, you're more likely to experience the negative symptoms before you'll experience the positive symptoms. You might find that your "tolerance" in this case is either extremely high or extremely hard to perceive. Not sure how much it'll take for you but I wouldn't do any more than what you'd normally do to get to whatever state you think you want to get to (buzzed, tipsy, drunk, shitfaced, etc.). I'm kind of a hypocrite, though, because it wasn't until I was on Risperdal Consta that I actually developed sort of a drinking problem. In that case, it seemed like it did take quite a bit extra for me to get drunk... or in this case: "festive".

And the restlessness is a killer too does anyone know when that starts to fade away? Thanks

I had 5 drinks which normally would get me pretty drunk bcoz i have a really low tolerance but its as if i didnt have anything to drink, i dont feel a thing...weird

Hi guys.

I registered this forum to write this topic.I'm from Turkey,my English is not so good and i hope you can understand mostly.I started to use Xeplion 100 MG (Invega Sustenna in USA - Xeplion in Europe but the same drug (Paliperidone Palmitate)) on August 2013 for major depression and i stopped medication on December 2013 for use anabolic steroids .6 months after off from this(On June 2014 ) drug it's completely ellimated.I can feel that.but anabolic steroids makes steroid psychosis on me.I went to doctor on (August 2014) and started the Xeplion again.I injected this drug for 10 months.I overcamed steroid psychosis.Steroids are completely elliminated from system and I'm good. Now my problem is this horrible drug.I'm off from Xeplion since May 2015,at month 4 i feel little bit better. It's almost be 8 months but the drug is not completely gone from system.I want to remind that my friends on June 2014 i used DNP (Dinitrophenol) 400 mg daily for 20 days and ı think maybe DNP helps for elliminate this drug.DNP increases metabolism up to %50 and you should know antipsychotics pile up on fat cells,DNP burns fat quickly,in June 2014 DNP maybe helps me,but im not sure about it.What is your opnions ?

See Later.

. Hi my name is tina and i live in germany. I read your blog entry and was misdiagnosed with Schizophrenia too. I was forced to take Xeplion 9 months ago. I felt really bad after it I was dizzy, had panic attacks, suicidial thoughts and crying attacks and full body ache. The symptoms havent gone away until now. I read your blog entry that you strugggled a long time cause it made you feel so bad too....Are you doing better now? Will the symptoms ever go away and how long did it take you to recover if you ever did?
Could you please write me back? I am very despereated and dont know what to do. I often think of suicide too. I am scared that these symptoms are forever.

Thank you so much for your help. Tina.

Don't know if that would work, the poison crosses the blood brain barrier and takes over the dopamine receptors
