Not. Your religiosity is only contrasted by your simple proclivity towards drugs.

I agree. I remember you telling me the same exact thing a while ago, with me being on the side of that dude.

To all: there's no drug in the world that can restore your dopamine receptors. But time can and will do it. Unless you were really old and had dementia, in which case the invega could kill you.

Autism speaks are a terrible organisation. A lot of autistic people have spoken out against them, but they just steamroll them and ignore them.

If nothing else, it's wildly inappropriate for one of the most well-funded autism awareness orgs to have a board that doesn't have a single autistic person on it.

The mainstream medical position is to perform ECT to "control" autism. It has been documented in a John Hopkins "advocacy" pamphlet. Autism speaks is down with that too. We are living in a nightmare era for mental health.

It’s messed up what this injection does to people and how doctors refuse to believe that it’s the medication making you feel how you feel. It literally ruins lives it’s just terrible.

I’m 23 I have anhodenia can’t get tired or hungry have sexual dysfunction everything is flat I’ve had six injections and I’ve been off it a month and on abilify any more recovery stories?

I spoke with someone who was off it and on ability and bed ridden. My guess is ability will continue to prolong side effects and create problems. I don’t know though.

Earwiggs is right, abilify will most definitely prolong your side effects and create problems.
It's only slightly better then invega imo.
I'm not a psychiatrist so I can't tell you to stop taking your medication but I would try to get off of all antipsychotics if you can.
I think pretty much all of us here didn't have a rebound psychosis after stopping invega.
Hang in there and keep us posted.

That's good news!
What line of work? If you don't mind me asking.
I've been thinking about starting work again, next year.

Sales. I’m working with a supplemental benefits company but I just got an offer from another company does digital media for radio stations. I’m going to accept that offer.

So yeah, just a quick update. Yesterday I took around 2 grams of shrooms because I thought that it could indicate whether there's still paliperidone left in me or if it's just in my head. Invega antagonizes serotonin 2A receptors harder than any other receptor type that it targets. And the 2A receptor activation is responsible for the visual effects of shrooms. Well, usually for me the trip has lasted for around 5-7 hours and now it was over in like 3 hours. I could definately feel the body high but the only thing that was missing were the visuals. They were still present but they were greatly blunted. Same goes for weed, I can get high and enjoy it but it only lasts for like 15-30 minutes.

After yesterdays experience, I finally managed to order St John's Wort for myself to see if the P-gp induction by SJW will actually help to get rid of paliperidone from the brain. It should arrive this week. And I've managed to lose 10 kgs (22 lbs) by basically just fasting.

I hope all of you are doing good aswell!
