@I_Want_To_Recover: hey, welcome to the thread.

what you are experiencing is normal. it is all due to invega/xeplion (which one do they call it in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico?)

no one knows for sure why those levels start getting extremely high but the cabergoline has worked for those in the past, continue to use it if you are comfortable with it.

i think it has to do with the 5ht2A receptor being shut down as well as the other 3 but science doesn't know enough about it yet.

others will welcome you when they are awake and will offer you their opinions. they are pretty smart as they have been where you are so please keep an open mind.

everything you are going through will get better in time, with patience and by working at it. many have come before us and healed, you will too. hang in there.

heal quickly. peace.

Hello @I_Want_To_Recover welcome to the thread. I'm so sorry for what happened to you just because of an argument... It sounds really unfair. The symptoms that you have are due to the injections still and also the blood results. The receptors that are needed to be active in order to get an errection and feel refreshed with energy are still being blocked. It is not because of the low testosteron, because there is also needed dopamin, the happiness hormone, to get a "happy errection" which is blocked. But that will increase with time. Do you also have other symptoms like loss of emotions, memory loss and cognitive impairment? You're now 7 months off the injections, so you have already made it really far. It won't take a long time from now on for you to get yourself back. I would say in 1-3 months you will see improvements, maximum 5 months. It's different from person to person. I would love to hear more from you in the future. Please keep us updated on how you're improving. We would all love to hear another success story. Hang in there. Best wishes!

@i_want_to_recover: Just research "low dopamine" and I guarantee you will be experiencing some or all of those symptoms. The good news is you will recover in time. According to your post you have been off invega for 7 months? At least you are past the zombie phase where those symptoms are even more enhanced. Read through some previous posts and many people recover around the one year mark give or take. In relation to your low testosterone, I personally don't believe invega affects the production of testosterone but will impact the release of testosterone due to low libido. It's similar to when we excrete feaces and not all of it comes out because dopamine regulates the gastrointestinal tract. I think they are both related but not one hundred percent sure on this theory. Good luck and keep healing.

@yeshua: That's so funny we posted at the same time and our posts are identical, good advice ;)

@invegauser : yeah I'm going through a wave with bad symptoms. So when I first came back to college I had to ride my bike again over a good distance all the way to college and come back home. I did that for a week. On monday 1st October. I rode my bike for 30 km. The next day I started having extreme and I mean extreme fatigue like I haven't had in a while. On wednesday my motivation and energy were gone. But I feel like these things are very slowly coming back. I could go for a run today for example.

@robe11 Lol yeah almost identical :) hope you're having a nice day! How many months are you off now? What about your thought process and your emotions? Have they returned to normal? What are you doing during the days?

Well said!

@Steph78: brag on sister. it was a potshot at marriage but i should keep my mouth shut as i'm never going to get hitched. congrats on finding a keeper.

thanks for posting so the ladies know. us guys drop info about our manly problems at the drop of a hat, hopefully more women share even if it's just via PM so your all not left in the dark. i know us men don't give it a second thought when it comes to our issues, doesn't mean women shouldn't keep the thread and each other apprised. i hear sexual side effects/withdrawal symptoms are just as bad for women as men while healing. the poison doesn't discriminate. (wonder whatever happened to Willowblossom anyway, hope she is doing well)

I was like A sexual. Was content being single and I didn't fantasize about marriage. Wasn't into princess stuff. Was a Tom boy most of my life. More girly now.
I met my husband at we just got. Like puzzle pieces. We grow together and help each other to grow as individuals.
I am thankful, grateful and appreciate of our time together here. Wouldn't miss this for nothing.
It's bliss in a box. Lbs

Day 133 (week 19)

First time in a week I am finally "better". My motivation increased gradually. It's much better than yesterday. HateInvega was healed at this point. I don't know how he made it but we can't take that away from him. He is a fast healer. Everything turned around in a single night. My sleep was better, my mood is better, as well as my energy levels.
I think I am about to go through an other window, the 3rd one maybe. Or is it the last one? I don't know but I don't want to claim that I am over it.

@I_Want_To_Recover: Welcome to the thread. It's been 7 months off for you. You have at least done half of the way. It will get better.

@yeshua: I'm 8 months off invega. My emotions and thought process have returned. Possibly because I found a girlfriend recently and work full-time. If I was sitting on the couch all day watching TV like I was 4 months ago probably wouldn't have recovered. When you feel better return to a normal life.

@zack365: this period of low motivation will improve eventually but I must warn you it took me about 6 months to recover. This was one of the last side effects to improve for me so don't feel alarmed about these negative symptoms. Everything you are doing to heal is inspirational and I'm sure many people on this forum are enlightened by your progress. Don't worry your motivation will return, that's a guarantee.

@zack365: Sorry I missed your previous post. You need to slow down with your recovery because your making us look bad. Maybe it's time for another injection? Just joking... Keep up the progress.

@yeshua: I forgot to ask how many months off invega are you? I guarantee after 6 months you will feel close to normal. Anyone else feel good after 6 months?

@robe11 : thanks for the advice. Haha, I wanted to recover in 120 days so I'm kind of disappointed but it's fine. I'm just trying to give hope and motivation to all the new people who received the injection.
How long did it take you to fully recover your memory? I have to go through classes and I'm tired to read the same lessons over and over again without being able to memorize them. It sucks...

@zack365: honestly 6 months was a breakthrough for me and all my cognitive functions returned to normal. Learning, memory, concentration and problem solving became easier. My 8th month has also been a breakthrough because I'm sleeping better and not as stressed about work. Healing seems to happen in chunks as opposed to a smooth progression. That means my next breakthrough will be month 10. Bring it on!

@yeshua: I forgot to ask how many months off invega are you? I guarantee after 6 months you will feel close to normal. Anyone else feel good after 6 months?

I felt great at 6 months.
I'm at 11 months now and I only have a few things left connected to invega.
Fingers crossed next month is my break threw.
Hoping I'm in the receptors recycling faze.

Hey robe! I'm 4 months and 5 days off. It's hard to imagine that I'll feel close to normal at 6 months off. We'll see. I'm praying to god to have my first window soon, so that I can get some hope and think clearly for some time. I said to myself that if I have my first window, I would write a letter to myself with a clear mind and giving myself hope to go through the waves that will come after the window. So that I can remind myself that I'm not lost. I can't imagine what a window feels like.

@robe11 When did you have your first window? What is it about? Can you go into details? At what month off did your emotions and thought process return?

Man, basically when I hit my first window:
- I thought I'd recover in the upcoming weeks
- My mood was so good I thought the end was very soon
- BUT your fitness levels remain the same
- the fatigue doesn't disappear from one day to the next
- it is a positive sign but not the miracle one could expect.

I had my first window around day 95.

My first breakthrough was when I transitionned from month 3 to month 4. Day 125 to 132 was hell. Now it feels better. I enjoy video games, such a pleasure.
My mother was so sweet, she told me not to force myself to go to college. I am definitely able to feel empathy from and to other people.
On the other side, I am still irritable against some people when I feel they do me wrong. But the anger and the lack of rational thinking are both coming from the injection.
I've lost an entire year to a depression and invega anyway, 2018 was the worst year of my life so far. I'll do my best not to go through that ever again.

Peace to you all.
