@yeshua: It's hard to remember my first window but the most significant breakthrough was month 6. Don't panic because I still felt terrible at month 4 so the next couple of months should be good for you. The main improvements were my cognitive functions like learning, memory, speaking, etc. I was no longer socially anxious and could hold conversations with family and friends. By month 6 I was motivated to return to work despite feeling anxious about how I would cope. Every working day gets easier and more comfortable. Month 6 to month 8 pleasure and emotions return to normal and find the courage to talk to women. Now at month 8 my life feels almost normal again pre invega. Still dealing with a little insomnia and stress from work. I don't want to get your hopes up by saying you will be completely healed by month 6 because you won't but should notice big breakthrough. Steph has also indicated she felt good after 6 months. I do believe there are similarities in the way invega leaves the body so I trust others timeframe on healing. Good luck.

@zack365: I had 3 shots all at 100mg.

Has anyone else felt disoriented, couldn't assess where a noise comes from when there was a noise, felt like they're not in their bodies, bad coordination, bad skill, couldn't fully fill your body with air, bad detailed memory? Did it return to normal??

@yeshua: Can't hold my breath anymore. Before invega I could hold my breath for almost two minutes. Have no idea why and trust me I've researched into this. Detailed memory will come back.

@zack365: No way could I date women after 3.5 months. I would be staring at her feet the whole time feeling shy and awkward. Could you imagine meeting the parents. How was the date?

@robe11: bad, I felt like I was needy for love, seeking attention. I couldn't help it, the poison had entirely changed how I perceived her. She was a solid 8 out of 10. I thought that such opportunity for some reason would never happen again. Now, I am more avoiding these kind of situations until I completely recover. No need to rush into love.

Day 134

Yesterday was a good day. Today is kind of identical. Some people had their first breakthrough at month 6, I had it at month 4. I did sports from day 30 to day 120. I had to face fatigue for more than a Week. The fatigue is kind of going away and my Energy is coming back but not yet where it should be. Cognitive fonctions are getting better. Looking forward to better days.

@yeshua: I workout three times a week for about an hour each session. Mostly strength and cardio like running and row. I'm sure cardio is improving my lung capacity and holding my breath is improving. I'm learning that recovery takes time and it will keep surprising you when you least expect it. You are past the zombie phase aren't you? Begins several days after first injection and lasts about a month or two.

@zack365: That makes a lot of sense to me. The drug takes away our emotions so our natural reaction is to get them back as quickly as possible but that comes across as desperate to most people. Don't get disheartened keep searching for love. Is it true you slept for 12 hours one night? What is your secret?

@robe11 : I usually sleep between 8 to 11 hours. Plus I simetimes take a nap in the afternoon. Idk, to be honnest it could be related to all the sport I did, a healthy diet. I don't like sitting on the couch all day long.

@zack365: You can even take naps during the day! The force is strong in you Luke. Did you experience insomnia in the first month? Waking up during the night?

@robe11 No I'm not past the zombie phase. I'm still numb and my conciousness is like crap! Everything I see feels like I'm looking into a big flat screen. It is like I don't have a full control over my body (I'm really clumsy and rough). Everything feels so unreal. It's like I'm not here I'm absent all the time. I'm not aware of things around me. Only what's in front of me. And that is also limited to the point I'm looking at. It's hard to explain. I don't have a panoramic view, it's reduced to a small point. Did that improve??

@yeshua: Everything improves and not just for me but everyone who has taken invega. Keep in mind the timeframe of healing, you are only at 4 months so you have to be patient. During my zombie phase I couldn't stop staring at the ground, all day long I would stare at the ground and everytime I tried to lift my eyes to a normal height they would drop to the ground again. I can also relate to hearing noises from all directions, my hearing was really sensitive and I would pickup on random noises in public possibly to cover for poor eyesight. As far as I'm aware dopamine does not regulate hearing but does eyesight. This will all improve and it's back to normal for me now.

Hi guys, I'm new to this thread and me as well have been a victim of the Xeplion also known as Invega Sustenna. I received 4 shots, the initial 2 doses of 150mg and 100mg, 1 more of 100 mg and the last one of 75 mg. I am court ordered but luckily i was able to get out of it.

My last injection was in mid July, so it's been two and a half months. I suffered from several side effects, some improved and others didn't.

So far the major improvements that i noticed are: I'm not as in a zombie mode anymore, i can laugh and i can hold conversations. During the other night at sleep i was able to ejaculate some kind of sperm (before nothing would come out), I'm able to get horny during my dreams and akathisia got a lot better, before i would walk around for hours inside my house from one place to another and now i just walk a little bit when i smoke a cigarette or have to wait for someone (can't stand still in the same place)

The other side effects that are still present are: severe acne which is pretty annoying, lack of libido, erectile dysfunction, lack of motivation to do exercise and i still feel no where as sharp as i was before.

But in general i feel much better than i did in the first month, i guess part of it is because i started taking an anti depressant called Sertraline by advice from my doctor.

The one that is worrying me the most is the lack of libido can someone tell me whats the average waiting period for it to return?

Best wishes of a quick recovery to everyone

@Drugs Off : welcome to the thread and I'm glad you managed to stop the injection. For me, first month I had low libido then at month 2 and 3 I had hypersexuality. I'm 4 1/2 months off and it is somewhat "normal".

I'm afraid that the anti depressant is making it worse, I'm not sure. But it's strange that during my sleep i can get an erection quite often but when I'm awake the libido is completly off. I don't know what to make of it. From what i understand you are one of the guys that had one of the fastest recoveries in this thread, is there anything in particular you would advise for me to do?

@Drugs Off : it is completely normal your libido hasn't returned to normal yet.
I'm very optimistic and love sports. I had a few windows that's why I and some people believed I was close to recovery but it's been 7 days I am tired and not motivated to do the things I could do three weeks ago.
The only advice I have is : run, walk or work out when you feel like it.
