Hello everyone. I am new to the thread. I am 3 months off of invega and what I?ve been experiencing is my mind being blank, no emotions, and insomnia. I am reaching out to see when do you see a difference. I?ve been worried I won?t return to normal.

And do you guys know of a detox? I?ve been looking online but I haven?t found any. I think that would work. I know of a detox facility but it cost 60,000 dollars to do it and I don?t have the funds

@lifeline: Welcome my friend. You should notice improvements from now on. The first three months are the hardest then it gets easier month by month, don't expect results day by day. I still suffer from a little bit of insomnia but my mind is working properly and emotions have come back. You should feel better around the six month mark, at least for me anyways. There will be lingering side effects for a while to come but shouldn't affect you from pursuing a normal life. Keep recovering!

I have to take 5mg of olanzapine while recovering. It?s not my choice and neither can I fake it as my mom watches me down that thing every night. It won?t stop my recovery will it? I?m gonna work out like a fiend and hope I recover as fast as zack did. I know he hasn?t recovered 100% but you know what I mean.

Thanks Empty and Invegauser! I?m stoked but one part of me is afraid I will never fully recover.

@shadypenguin I'm sorry to say that, but Olanzapine is the same kind of drug and will delay your recovery. You shouldn't take anything while you're recovering...

@lifeline Welcome to the thread! How many shots have you got? Detox unfortunately won't help because it is running through your blood and will be filtered by your kidney. The only thing you can do is to help your kidney through teas and drinking a lot water. But you won't really notice anything as everyone here has already tried a lot of things. I also thought in the beginning that detox would help and it was actually the reason why I took the shots because I believed that I can fastly filter it out of my system. But unfortunately I'm still stuck like this at month 4. Your body needs time to filter it out of the system as it's still in your muscle and slowly being submitted to the blood. After it's all gone the nervous system needs some time to recover itself and the brain also needs time to adjust to its normal biochemistry. Time is the only thing that will heal. I wished I could say something else, but there isn't any case on the internet that has made it through detox. Detox and nutrition would be an option after your body has cleared it out to slowly help your body return to a healthy stage. But right now even nutrition is difficult for the body to handle as the poison influences your metabolism. Have also tried a few things through nutrition, but it just doesn't feel like before. It's like the body doesn't know what to do with it. Which scares me until today. I hope we all get better soon. I wish you a fast recovery.

Day 132

Alright, so that's a premiere. From day 30 to day 125 I was somewhat productive. I tried going back to college but now I am tired and not motivated enough to study. I don't even have the motivation to run, which I had during most of the recovery. I am facing a setback, a week now that I am pretty much unproductive. That is weird, I worked twice, I had singing class and went to see a friend. We regularly talk on the phone to read some religious scriptures which definitely bring something helpful in the balance. But even then, I feel unproductive. The satisfaction that comes along with the good work is non-existent.

Good
Less cognitive impairment
Thought process getting slowly better (not pre invega yet)

Bad
very low motivation
feeling constantly unproductive

@Robe11 thanks for the insight. Should I feel any better by month 4?

@Yeshuah that?s unfortunate to hear. I was hoping there would be a detox. I miss my emotions and thoughts. I got 5 shots total. We?re gonna get thru this

@empty1128 do you feel your emotions and have thoughts

@lifeline: welcome to the thread. what you are experiencing is typical. your in the zombie phase part, which is a good sign you will heal cause those who came before us have gone through the same. i'm not up on detox but i can tell you that some have fasted and swear by it, eating as healthy as you can is a good choice and exercising will help increase your chances. all 3 combined should be most effective as well as trying other things like lots of water, juicing and vitamins. the zombie phase lasts between 4-8 months depending if your an average or fast healer, time will tell. stay distracted, do the best you can and hang in there.

@shadypenguin: it usually takes a week or two for most to be able to tell if the olanzapine (zyprexa) will be effective for them or not, it's a period of time where the medication builds up in your system but also to see if there are side effects to it. i hope it is the pill your taking (the injection is almost as bad as invega if you do suffer from it), the pill wasn't that bad imo. i took large doses of it for two years but it didn't fix what ails me. keep tabs on it and see how it goes.

@zack365: in a wave? the bad list in your post, could you tell me if you noticed a difference between now and back when it first started happening for you? even the slightest or weirdest bit might be useful, feel free to PM me if you don't want to post and all PM's to me are still confidential. we can go into it in detail there if you want or not. (give it a few days, you might hit an upswing again)

@dellad: i've tried to look that up in the past. it was one of the first things i found on the net shortly before joining BL. scary isn't it.

i'm in the middle of a game but if someone want's to find out and link up i would be most interested in it as well. it seems the only common factor in any deaths relating to this is old age, 50's or older, which is scary cause we had two people here on it over 50. iridescentblack could correct me on this but i think one was ablearcher. guy had it hard, agencies kept fooling around with his income and living conditions.

the 20 or so asians is a mystery unless they are covering up but i don't think that's the case. there has to be a common factor or it was a bad batch they caught early enough before a higher body count. i will look more into when this game is beat proper like.

just like politics, marriage and many other things... one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. :\

I just found out from another source Invega Sustenna stops menstruation. Once the injection stops it takes 3 months for the bloody period to reamerge. Maybe that’s why the first 3 months are hardest hit hell.

yes, it's been known here and in other places. it takes anywhere between 3 months to 9 months from what lil info i could gather.

it's one of the reasons i feel really bad for women who are on the poison. menstruation, breast milk production, hormones, emotions and a few other things.

even though some women welcome it and some don't, messing with the cycle of life is a huge no no to me.

Not trying to brag, no hell with it, I'm bragging. I am fortunate to have a magnificent marriage. I do not take him for granted, I am very mindful and thankful, as is he. ?

I got my period back in the 6th month off the shot. Its been no where near as bad as pre invega. I'm in month 11 off the shot.

@Steph78: brag on sister. it was a potshot at marriage but i should keep my mouth shut as i'm never going to get hitched. congrats on finding a keeper.

thanks for posting so the ladies know. us guys drop info about our manly problems at the drop of a hat, hopefully more women share even if it's just via PM so your all not left in the dark. i know us men don't give it a second thought when it comes to our issues, doesn't mean women shouldn't keep the thread and each other apprised. i hear sexual side effects/withdrawal symptoms are just as bad for women as men while healing. the poison doesn't discriminate. (wonder whatever happened to Willowblossom anyway, hope she is doing well)

Hi all, I am from Dominican Republic. I am 36 years old. English is my second language so I will try my best to explain my situation. I visited my mother in Pennsylvania, USA on February 2018. I had an argument with my mom and I was admitted to the psych ward at the VA Medical Center. On March 9, 2018 I was administered 234 mg of Invega Sustenna and on March 15, 2018 I received another dose of 156 mg, both against my will. I have been reading the posts on this site and searching info on the Internet regarding this drug. After I received my first shot I had a very intense headache and dizziness. I told the pdoc about my side effects but he told me that I need to get a second shot but this time with a lower dose. I kept refusing several times but he forced me once again to get a second shot. A week later after my second shot I wake up and I went to the Supermarket and I start to feel these weird symptoms while walking. I had blurry vision and dizziness. I though that these symptoms were gonna go away in the next few days but it was not the case. My blurry vision and dizziness went away a month later after my second shot, but my health situation got worst, because I started to experience new symptoms like extreme weakness, fatigue, loss of motivation, weight gain, low energy and erectile dysfunction. I decide to go to Puerto Rico and take care of my health and my primary Dr performed several blood test and she find out that I had very low Testosterone levels, low LH and FSH hormone levels and High Prolactin levels. She refers me to the endocrinologist and they did a Pituitary MRI to find out if I had a tumor but the result was negative. He prescribed me Cabergoline 0.5 mg twice a week to lower my Prolactin levels. I have been taking the Cabergoline or Dostinex as prescribed for 2 month and last week I did a blood test for Testosterone and Prolactin levels. This time my Prolactin levels came normal but my Testosterone levels are on the low normal range, but I still have extreme weakness, fatigue, some days I sleep 12 hrs or more, low libido and I still have erectile dysfunction. I think that my Testosterone levels are not in my normal range yet may be they need to increase until they reach my normal range in order to feel healthy again, but my concern is why I still suffering from extreme weakness, low libido and erectile dysfunction? May be that is the issue that my Testosterone levels are in the low normal range and not on the normal range. I am so confused. Please if anyone can help me I will appreciate it.

Thanks

I hope everyone recover
