I'm on the verge of suicide please someone can answer my question? I had two injections of clopixol and am approaching my 5th half life and still not feeling any better. Does anyone know when I will feel better I'm so confused right now.
You’re gonna be alright you’re probably going through withdrawal right now if you’re on the 5th half life the drug is mostly out of your system so your brain is scrambling to return to homeostasis which can be very overwhelming just hang in there sometimes it gets worse before it gets better there’s light on the other side you fully recovered from invega sustenna so you’re definitely capable of fully recovering from clopixol, if you ever relaspe into psychosis again take the pills not the shots.

Wikipedia says the half life is a mere 20 hours and 19 days for the IM.

That's hard to call.

Its going to take up to a year...the other dude from thread v4 and v5 also used that injection and it took him one year to heal...all those injections are bad news

Question to everyone: Where do I go to hand out my psychiatric directive ?
Local police station? Hospital?
What have people here done previously? And did it work?

Probably your brain is realigning itself
ya @apsucks you just said you felt a massive improvement yesterday depression is a big part of anti psychotic withdrawal you felt really good yesterday which was a window but you probably have some more withdrawals to deal with just hang in there you’ll be alright once it’s over with you’ll feel even better then you did yesterday everyday.

How long since your last shot are you off?
21 months.
How much are you recovered in total so far?
Recovered from anhedonia by 55%-60%, same for lack of emotion.
Akathisia still sometimes present but can't be compared to how it was before.
Cognitive abilities improved but can't tell the percent for it.
I can handle stressful situations easily now.
Food tastes good compared how it was before 10 months when it was like eating tasteless flour.
I'm able to dedicate lot of time (~10h) into my work and I can now think more deeply.
My sleep improved and now I sleep on average 7h-8h.
It is ridiculous how long it took for my sleep to recover to that point (15 months).

Any meds you're taking currently?
No.

No.
I find it hard to believe that with only two shots you’re not recovered after 21 months there’s gotta be some other factor involved I remember reading the old threads and you mentioned you used Valium sometimes are there any supplements or drugs you’re taking? Including caffeine.

My ability to focus on what I listen to has increased quite significantly.
During the injections and the first months after, if I was to play a podcast on YouTube, I couldn't track or concentrate on what is being said at all.
Recovery is a slow process for real.
Lack of focus/concentration is purely because of anhedonia, if one of those tree recover by some amount, it affects other two.
Yes it's slow process but you should find all possible ways to decrease your suffering, for me at beginning I would walk for 5h a day, shower for 30min or take a bath. I was not able to watch youtube or watch a movie/show for long amount of time, only at around 15 months off I was able to watch movie to the end, but there was still anhedonia present and emptyness, I also was not able to understand story completely because of lack of concentration. Around 8-9 months off I was able to listen to music more. At month 8 I was able to force myself to watch short anime episodes of 10min, few times per day after a walk. I would also play very simple word match/crosswords/math games over phone.

I used valium for 1.5 months and in very very small dose around 0.5mg because I was not able to sleep even if I took 10mg melatonin. I don't take caffeine. I started taking NAC recently, it helps a little bit. I also take probiotics. My digestion is recovered completely. I take St John's Wort in small dose. Melatonin 4mg - or I can't sleep.

I did not get any withdrawal from that small amount of valium, after I went off it. Someone takes 5mg-10mg per one day.

Yeah that’s weird none of those substances should drastically prevent you from recovering espicially in small doses, there are some rare cases of people not recovering from 2 shots but I think you will eventually if anhedonia has improved by a little bit more then halfway, the people who recover really slowly like that often report fully recovering in 4 years your brain and body chemistry is probably a lot more sensitive then the average persons to anti psychotics you must avoid taking another shot at all costs.

I was 18 when I got it, that might be one of reasons. There were lot of people here who recovered around 1.5-3 years, from 2-3 shots.

There are lot of people who disappear from this forum after some time, people who didn't say they recovered.

I was 18 when I got it too, I took the shots in august I’m gonna be 19 in less then a month now but I feel like anhedonia is gone for me mostly (80-85%) 7 months off.
