Yep am going to GP next week to get it all sorted. I still do believe somewhat seperate to bias that these NSAIDs and paracetamol can be used in low doses habitually without acute damage. Eg: ex-girlfriends mother took 3-4 panadol every single day whilst having Hep-C and smashing bottles of wine yet her prognosis is almost full recovery from the virus.
Another example is when I was a crazy 16 y.o and wanted to off myself I gulped down 72 panadol and about 30 ibuprofen and fell asleep. Next day felt like death, constantly vomiting bile, eventually told parents, in hospital... normal liver function. On top of this, the liver cells love to regenerate. Either way, ibuprofen is really the only conern here, and:
- lowest incidence of gastrointestinal adverse drug reactions (ADRs) of all the non-selective NSAIDs.
- the-counter preparations of ibuprofen are generally labeled to advise a maximum daily dose of 1,200 mg [note: 6 nurofen plus].
- Common adverse effects include: nausea, dyspepsia, gastrointestinal ulceration/bleeding, raised liver enzymes, diarrhea, epistaxis, headache, dizziness, unexplained rash, salt and fluid retention, and hypertension. [note: have noted slight hypertension; slight nausea, none of others].
Also, have gone back to doing the CWEs which strangely has meant my consumption of codeine has halved. In fact stopped for 2 days and the withdrawals are just slight agitation and restlessness. After 24 hours you take a MASSIVE shit and feel surprisingly brilliant.
