Yeah no shit. I tried putting the solution in a big syringe and pushing it through a micron filter. How dumb is that? (why i hate benzos) It didnt work obviously . I'm sure there must be a quicker way mate.

i tried the exact same thing! yep, 22 micron filter gets clogged pretty damn quick... useless.
 
Basically if you want to do it quickly, and get a clear solution.

Use two coffee filters, ensure they are both wet first.. one over the other. pour your solution with gluggy shit at the bottom into the filter.. leave for 5 minutes. Come back, lift the filters off the mug, or whatever you're filtering into. close the top of the filters with ur hand, and firmly grip the filters - then squeeze slowly and gently and you'll notice clear liquid coming thru at a fast rate.

thats how i roll :)

doing this never gives me a clear filtrate. i even let the 'chemists own' / water mixture settle, then use a syringe to draw up the fluid component (leaving the majority of the solids behind), then put this through coffee filters. using 'melitta' coffee filters... perhaps i'll try a different brand.
 
Many brands cannot be got clear without micron filters/similar, due to the polymeric shite they use as binders. I can't get paramol clear ever, but the cheap generic stuff is easy.

This is exactly what I do. My solution ends up slightly cloudy but it's safe nevertheless. I have evaporated my end product and wound up with about 1000mg of solids. Even if it was all para it is still at a therapeutic level.

I'm interested in trying this, what's the best product to buy? I was looking for Nurofen Plus but couldn't find it on the shelves.

theres a product here in oz now called panadiene 15,..... 500 mg paracetamol, 15 mg codiene, these have produced the best results to date, only problem being they only come in a pack of 12 and your buying of this is tracked (pharmisist has to put a label on it)... you can always use up some chemists own brand with it to make up to what tou need.(they will only issue you with one packet of these every 48 hrs of these panadiene 15's) havnt tried asprin yet.. im stickin wit these ones, just wish they came in bigger packs:!
 
I just bought some panadeine 15 and the pharmacist didnt put anything on it, record anything, nothing whatsoever

the problem with using 10mg ones is that theres still 500mg of paracetamol in them, takes longer to filter, gluggier solution. imo 15mg's are easier to work with

cool might have 2 try a different pharmacy then, i agree with the second part also, but Dr. shop also has a point, i think one of each will be in order maybe?:)
 
Its impractical.

Panadeine 15 is expensive and you can only buy the minimum amount at a time.. I still think Panafen Plus is the best. It has the same contents as N+, its only 14 bucks a 75 pack and gives a good filtration (a nice slightly opaque solution). A complete opposite to N+ which is the shittest money can buy.

I agree that paracetamol based capsules filter better. But P+ gives an excellent filtrate for an ibuprofen based capsule.

And if you really care some money goes to breast cancer when you buy panafen plus.
 
Never had much luck with CWE's but I just used only 1 pack of Panadine 15, great buzz, just regular freezer cool for 30 mins with crushed pills in water, I haven't been using any opiates lately though.
 
my latest endevor was one pack of pan 15 (about 180mg) , then 12 half a pack of chemists own (about 120mg), dissapointing results, there is so much fucking gunk involved, pan 15 is the only thing that seems 2 give me super clean/clear solution, also in these threads i have seen posts that say that it can be done quickly.. from myexperience especialy when u leave it in the fridge, it takes freakin ages, i use the double wet unbleached coffie filters and if i try 2 speed it up will always end up with cloudy solution:( .. thinkin im gonna wait nexttime till ive got 2 packs of the 15's... anyone else notice probs with chemists own brand??
 
yup^ exactly. Panadine 15 is the only one I get clear solution from without a lot of fucking around.
 
box of 96 chemists own 'pain tablets' get my thumbs up (paracetamol/10mg codeine) probably already mentioned in here somewhere

200mg plus codeine and grapefruit juice b4 hand (and a zantac while swallowing the solution) had me nodding could hardly keep my eyes open I was farked :)
 
There's plenty of great brands around besides panadeine - chemists own is regarded by many as being one of the best (provided you get the white tablets and not the orange cap shaped pills). Many of the generic brands are from Australian owned companies, which IMO are more deserving of our support than the american based panadeine (based on the fact I'd prefer to support local businesses over multinational ones). Not to mention it's cheaper.
