Codeine & CWE Megathread: Version II - [insert witty title]

I don't think there is a ratio, I mean if you were doing a low dose of codeine in the morning or something you might scale the DXM a bit back for that, but if being too high was a concern to begin with you probably wouldn't be potentiating... For me I always used pretty much the same dose, maybe increasing it a little when I was dosing codeine and DXM regularly.

I haven't done a CWE in quite a few months, I used to dose 600-800mg but to be honest for like the last year of me bothering the buzz I was getting was hardly worth it in retrospect, especially considering the effort to cruise multiple pharmacies then perform CWE. I dosed 200mg of pure codeine a couple times semi recently just to cure a bad hangover and that was enough to give me a barely noticeable buzz for maybe 45 minutes the first time I did it.
 
Ahhk. I guess if a threshold dose of DXM can potentiate any opiate there isn't really means to raise the dosage, on second thoughts. I just stuck to the 20ml's, had a 25mg Phenergan to stave off the itches as well.

Yeah I've started to find I get very little euphoria from it these days, though I still get quite a considerable buzz from 600-700mgs. Hence why I've started looking for potentiators.

On that note, Quinine, in any form (tonic water/pure), have you had any experience with it in combination with opiates? I just read it also inhibits the CYP450 enzyme also. I'm surprised I've never seen it brought up in discussions (maybe I'm blind).
 
U did consume 1200mg of codeine which is an extremely high dose even if u do somewhat have a high tolerance. At those doses it tends to make u feel quite ill. Glad to hear ur ok tho man just be careful next time.

The ceiling dose is "400mg" or so they say but everyone is different. I feel 600-800mg a lot more than 400mg but nowhere near twice as strong. Everyone is different so the same ceiling dose does not apply. People metabolize in different percentages. For a non tolerance user 100mg is a good starting dose. Tolerance will rise quite rapidly from there though.
 
The ceiling dose is different for everybody but it averages at about 400mg-600mg.

Did you take anything for nausea?

That much codeine would probably play a big roll in slowing down your entire digestive system. It dries you out like nothing else, and I find if I eat too much rubbish food while high, ill deffinetly get sick/nauseous.
 
Has anyone heard of actacode? It says codeine linctus 25mg/5ml. I'm thinkin about having 20/25ml and getting a bit of buzz but just thought I'd check on here if it's safe to use this stuff recreationally? Also i think it's expired Lol
 
haha love it people still doing this....ah what a waste....dont do it properly and your stomach will have a bad cramp....plur!

looks fine to take if you know your dosage. probably much like the morphine linctus available otc in parts of the UK.
 
how far expired is it? and does it list what ingredients are in the actual linctus? i did a half assed search and found nothing much apart from what it doesn't include which are glucose, lactose, tartrazine or any other azo dyes.

i've never dealt with linctus products myself and never really read anything about whether different ones are safe or not when expired.
 
It expired July last year. An no it doesn't say what it contains. I just read something on another forum about someone who had morphine linctus that was 18 months expired and they said it was fine, and I also read these things are packed full of preservatives and the expiry date is just a caution
 
I just drank a glass of raspberry cordial. Tasted like a CWE so I guess I have ruined red cordial for life..........
 
Effects starting to wear off now, the "high" only lasted about 20 minutes. Not sure if that's normal this is only my second time using this much codeine and last time was months ago. Havnt come across any problems so all is well thanks for your advice
