Actually cos I thought it was a good idea and maybe worth trying to add a linky to it in the first post of this thread so it'd maybe be easier to send folks to check it out. Or maybe it would make no difference. Dunno but thought it worth suggesting

wheres the 'How to do a CWE' thread that was started a few months ago I think by Monsta?
the op had loads of tips and general things to bear in mind whereas this thread is less clear on exactly how to cwe, which I'm doing tonight got 2 boxes generic of 500/8 co-codomol with a few E numbers in them as well

It is just paracetamol, but in a sodium citrate salt solution.
Soluble paracetamol preparations (usually) contain citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, which react to make carbon dioxide (which produces the effervescence) and sodium citrate. Paracetamol is soluble in sodium citrate solution.. there are other things that increase the solubility of paracetamol but this is the most common from what I gather. Can't find a source right now (sorry, really tired, will look tomorrow!) but it's described on this pharmacy forum (second reply down)
Also explains why there is so much sodium in them!
So def not safe for CWEs...

) do a damn fine job of keeping my science muscle pleasingly moist, nurtured and well nourishedNo one can say how cloudy is safe unfortunately as it depends on how much water you used (and some brands seem to have fillers/binders which make the water cloudy) but really you don't want cocodamol CWE to be cloudy at all.
Initially I misread your post and thought you used soluble paracetamol and was panicking a bit, cos 12g is farfar too much and could be v dangerous in some people, but if you filtered it you won't have had that much hopefully! We can't really tell you how much though as it depends how effective the filtering was. Short answer, if you don't think you got much paracetamol out and are worried, get yourself to a doctors sharpish as liver damage isn't fun. Should be A+E ASAP really as they can treat the OD but I appreciate this is a bit extreme, but if you are worried it's the safest thing.
If you feel you filtered most of it out but are still concerned you could always get a blood test at your GPs just to check your liver is happy and ok.. and filter a bit more next time
You should be fine but everyone varies in their response to paracetamol, and we really can't tell you how much you have had on the net.. good luck!
I think I'll be fine... I did get rid of all of the slobby paracetamol remains, there was just a cloudy mixture with a few grains in it. I can feel my abdomen tingling occasionally though, maybe I'm just being paranoid....

If you skip to 09:16 on the video, that's how ''cloudy'' my solution was.
I started a bit late before bed so I kinda rushed it, I filtered it 4 times and it came out slightly less cloudy each time. I'll just let the water sit on the filter next time rather than push it through, pushing it through may have lessened the quality of my solution. All worry is not gone though, just hope I don't feel anything in the next 3 days I guess.

It's just that Paramol, for example, has a water soluble coating which can cause cloudiness, like Nurofen+ also has so they always come out cloudy but are safe as long as you follow all other "good CWE codes of conduct"
BUT! If they're just generic-style pharmacy Co-Codamol, cloudiness is definitely not good.
I'd have a wild stab at thinking that it would be your filteration device - What are you using for filtering? Coffee filters?
I've found using old T-Shirts are usually not that good and I have only ever used them when I couldn't get ahold of Coffee filters. It did end up a tad cloudy but I used little water, only did it 4 times or so and didn't touch any booze so I was ok.

I can't find a source for that myself, all I can find is some novel system using PG and sorbitol in a syrup, or it being more soluble in alkoxides. Seems difficult, which is good for all the CWE'ers! You would imagine if sodium citrate made it soluble, they'd put it into the swallow tablets so they couldn't be abused.
Anyway it doesn't really matter, like you and I have said, the sodium will kill you for sure if the APAP doesn't!
Just dissolved 32tablets of "fizzy" paracetamol, in 100ml's of water, which was difficult with all the foaming, bearing in mind all the rest of the crap dissolves, which means that each tab will only have 500mg's of sediment, and that about 1g is lost to the water, after letting it settle a good, dense layer formed at the bottom of the glass. It is TONS less than the crushed up tablets would ever be, but like I said, they are totally different.
I'll try and get a picture up, not that it matters cause they ain't safe cause of the sodium anyway, so they should never be used!

Teabags sound like they wouldn't be finely meshed enough to filter properly I must say, milk is not good! Few sheets of kitchen roll seems to work best imo, dampened and put in the cut off top of a 2l plastic bottle (only got taught this recently ). Coffee filters clog and take hours and then break really easily I find

Fuck man! Don't use Teabag casings 8( I've tried that before when desperate and it seriously didn't work. Was cloudy as hell, ended up with visible particles of Paracetamol in my solution and I just chucked it out as I knew it would be chock full of Paracetamol.I used generic pharmacy codeine & paracetamol. Definitely get yerself some Coffee filters - They're only 80-90p or something

I have a question... If you had a reasonable amount of tramadol and a reasonable amount of codeine to hand (no paracetamol attached) which would you prefer to neck for a nice quiet night in?

Codeine all the way, I hate Tramadol but some people like it. Depends what your favourite is really.
used like 32 pills and the euphoria was minuscule, maybe I lost too much codeine, extracted it like 5 times just to make sure, and lost a shed load of water and also some raw pills as I was crushing them.... what a waste. Maybe my liver lost some of its ability to convert into morphine, I fear...8(Codeine for the win if you're looking for a nice nap.
