Clit piercings

I've been thinking about getting a vertical hood piercing for awhile now, but what I REALLY want is a triangle. I've done a lot of research on it, and if I can find a good experienced piercer whom I've trust and I've got the right anatomy I'm all for it.
I'm sure it'd be easier to get the vertical hood (also easier to find someone with a lot of experience doing them), but I just keep thinking that it will get in the way. Meanwhile, as the triangle goes behind the clitoral shaft and comes out on either side, it still allows for full access to the clit.
Needless to say, I've been spending a lot of time on Tribalectic and BMEzine lately. By the way, if anyone knows of a good piercer anywhere around the Ft. Lauderdale or Miami area, let me know!! ;)

i've been looking into getting a hood piercing, but im unsure which one i like better... VCP or HCP any suggestions?

Please let us know doofqueen! Ive been thinking of getting this or my nipples pierced for a long time now and I just cant decide which one!!!

Does any one think one is more riskier or has more complications? This is the only thing Im really scared of. 8(

i will probably get it done in january or most likely feb (only cos of lack of cash) i soooooo want this done! but yes i will report back when my pink bits have some metal through them ;)

I've had a vertical hood piercing for about a year now. I haven't changed the jewelry since I got pierced, and it's a very short surgical steel curved barbell. My boyfriend at one point wanted to buy me a ring with bigger balls, but the piercer told him that the one that would stimulate me the best is the one I already have.

Keeping in mind that I have an EXTREME pain tolerance, the piercing itself was nothing - I remember I was surprised because it hurt no worse than an inexperienced sex partner.

the healing period was about a month before I could touch it, and in that time i really didn't WANT to touch it because it was oh so sensitive and a bit sore and, well, that would be an awful place to get an infection.
so I cleaned it meticulously, at least twice a day with tryadine

I was finally able to have sex after a month - and it was ok, but I don't think I had fully healed from the piercing because I wasn't really enjoying sex or oral - I got irritated really easily - everything felt too 'intense.'

It wasn't until 3 months or so after the piercing that it really began to contribute to sensation.

Now I love it - it's great for oral sex, and masturbation (it's oh so fun to put a vibrator against that little piece of metal ;))

I can't say it's increased sensation during intercourse. Given my anatomy, I'm not sure how it could cos it's on my clit.

I can't have guys 'grinding' up hard against me, but soft grinding is fun. Also, if you're into girls, it's fun to touch her clit to yours and let her feel the sensations.

When someone's going down on me I have to make sure they don't position it the wrong way or pull on it too much, but you have to do that with any partner I suppose -

and if you're already irritated with, say, a yeast infection or UTI, it might make it a little more painful and sensitive - but at least it encourages you to take care of the problem ASAP.

--------------------------------------------------------------

overall, I'm VERY happy with mine -
as are the Ladies AND Gentlemen that see it.

I also find that when I do certain drugs, i'm more apt to get mini-orgasms without even touching it. =D

In conclusion, I highly reccomend it and feel the good outweighs the bad

Well i got mine done im happy with in overall but since its only the second day i have no real experince with it, except that it likes to bleed on me... any advice?

im surprised how many people on here have a hortizontal hood done since it is the lesser done one of the two since most people are not 'built' for it...

i just wanted to say i love my vch
it is delicious and wonderful

MIMP!

i got mine done almost 3 years ago... i love it... it didnt take long to heal... i had sex that night.... it was the least painful piercing i have had done (when i got my lip and monroe done, i had them numbed first.. and the hood STILL hurt less).... after it heals i would recommend switching to a larger gauge jewelry, because the smaller the gauge, the easier it is to tear through and migrate (i have noticed this with many piercings and alot of piercers do not recommend smaller gauges for certain piercings.... i switched to a 12 from a 16 without even gauging it out, because the 16 started pulling through because the jewelry was so thin... plus smaller, thinner jewelry gets caught easier and makes it easier to tear, i learned that the hard way too.. )... the piercer who did my hood and outerlabia made me feel so comfortable.... he told jokes, kept my mind off the fact that i felt like i was at the gynecologists office, and just did everything he could to make me comfortable.....

mzlove- your piercer will be able to let you know whether you are "anatomically correct" for a VCH... if not the horizontal might be able to work for you.... all you have to do is go to an experienced piercer (not one who will just do the piercing to make a few bucks whether your body is correct for it or not) and he or she will be able to determine which hood piercing is right for your body.... as far as any sagging or anything... i have one outerlabia piercing (it hurt so much getting that done, i chickened out on getting the second side) and have not noticed any difference in how that lip hangs compared to the other, and i have had it longer than my VCH... i use 12 gauge jewelry (hoping to go to a 10 once the holidays are over and have money to buy new jewelry) so its not too heavy...

I have had a verticle hood piercing for about 6 months now.
A couple of hours before I got it done they told me to wear a numbing patch - do this if you are planning on getting one done. I remember sitting on the chair & the girl going 'okay all done now' and I was like 'what?'. I didn't even feel a lil prick into my skin, god those numbing patches work a treat ;p.

Mine healed within about a week and I haven't looked back since. The other night I had a few girls over my house & the topic of piercings came up & we realised that 3 of us 6 girls sitting at the table all had our clit hoods pierced, so it is definitely becoming more common!

not yet ( because i'm still a little scared but mainly for financial reasons) too many psytrance festivals to attend to =D

I'm giving up dofing for first semester when i start uni in march so think i will get it done then because i can't see a needle going through any part of my genitals and then being able to stomp while it's healing :\

so i will wait till i go back to uni after the holidays (or rather wait till the first holidays at uni) so that i won't have to actually go anywhere while i'm sore and healing.

I will however when i do get it down make a full report =D

When i got my PA done, i was nervous as hell, but ever since, i am no longer shy about my dong, and am in fact extremely proud and happy to be somthing more than most guys. i think that girls with piercing of any kind in that area are sexy as hell. although i can't tell you personally if it'll hurt or not, i have it on good account from some friends that the sex gets turned up in all aspects after it's done.

I think it looks cute( & inviting) but in my opinion it does get in my way as do nipple piercings

all of you who say it only took 4 days to heal and a month etc.. are
way off base
it may look healed but it will take 6-12 weeks for it to heal properly and completely, and if you lost sensation that could be why !!!!!!
i am talking from experience i worked in a piercing shop for over a year !

alot of ppl heer are sayin they gad no probs but please be safe and smart !

and yes you BETTER feel comfortable w/ your piercer !!!
