FGM removes the clitoris. Not comparable. No woman ever chooses to have her clitoris removed.

There are many different definitions of female circumcision around the world, by far the most popular types remove the clitoral hood only( the direct tissue removed by male circumcision) or the labia. The fact is Americans are so culturally ingrained they recoil in disgust at any alteration of infant female genitals no matter if it is no more severe then male circumcision or not. The law against female genital mutilation in the US also violates the 14th amendment which guarantees equal protection under the law.

By the way spend some time online and you will find actual women from female circumcising cultures arguing for milder forms of female circ, they sing the praises of it which pretty much match the horseshit spewed here about the male variant.
They also believe it is unfairly maligned in foreign media as mutilation, sound familiar?

I'll reiterate: I've never had any smell issues and I'm uncut. My girl goes down often and enjoys it, oh and she didn't even realize I was uncut until about 3 months into our relationship (she never really saw it flacid).

I thought cleanliness was common sense until I worked intake in the juvenile justice system in DC. When the girls that got arrested would be brought in by the po-po smelling like rotting garbage I could not understand it! Then, after watching them take a shower (part of the job was they had to shower and delouse), I understood. They did not know HOW to bathe! They stood under the water for awhile, then come out. I would be like, "hold up, girlie, you didn't wash your ass." They did not know what I meant!

Point being, washing properly is a skill (I guess).
