chocolate

i LOVE haighs choc frogs. i was fortunate to be offered one at work the other day.
now i must locate the store in melbourne. i know its on Collins st....can anyone give me directions?

also, lindt (especially the mint balls)......the pistachio block!

cadbury old gold with macadamia.....lush.
i love dark chocolate and i cant stand white chocolate....cos it doesnt have any cocoa, only cocoa butter so by my reasoning thats not real chocolate.

and dont get me started on $1 easter eggs....the ones that leave a plasticy coating in your mouth....and take forever to melt. eeeewwwwwwwww:p

oooh and The Chocolatier makes some pretty yummo choccies. but i'll shut up now!

^ There's one on Swanston Street too I think, near the corner of Bourke St? I ADORE Haighs. When I was little, we went on a school excursion to the factory (which is in Adelaide) - it was like being in heaven. And if it wasn't like being in heaven, then heaven isn't worth going to :D I love++ Haighs.

I couldn't help myself. The other day i bought 2 mint patties, 2 milky ways and 2 curley wurleys. Me and my mate were very happy chappies.

Oh yeah, i couldn't believe it. 1 mint pattie costs 72 cents. 8o But they're good, so i'll pay it.

on swanston?? thats almost achievalble. i can never be assed trekking around the city. slow pedestrians piss me off!!

but if its for haighs....well......just maybe

i tried the cadbury caramel triple decker chocolate, it was ok - i was able to eat the stuff of course, but i doubt that i would buy it again.

The older i get the more i enjoy dark chocolate - the good thing about it is that i find i eat less chocolate (well in a sitting) at it can be so rich. I still cant eat 85% lindt dark choc.

Whats in the blackforest choc block - i have never had it.

new wonka bars...wonky fudge is the greatest!! yummy fudgey stuff, with biscuit bits, wrapped in wonka chocolatey goodness.

they're soooo good.

I like anything with coconut, actually if there wasnt coconut or caramel i wouldnt be attracted to the chocolate at all.

Chocolate is a bit *meh*. Caramel'n'coconut ... *drool*

Kinder Bueno is the bar that has me atm.
Cadbury Triple Decker, hmm strawberry chocolate, or Nestle Peppermint with dark chocolate block, yum.

I also enjoy, Snickers, Milo-Bar, Aero's, Flake. I also eat Nutella almost daily. Nutella on a spoon, dipped in Milo followed by a sip of milk = heaven.

the wonka chocolate is Kooky Fudge - I'm looking at it right now! mmmm choc fudge dunked in chocolate and cookie bits!!!
Though I like the Mud Sludge a bit better - but both very yum

Flake...I love the way it crumbles up and melts in your mouth!

I remember the ad for that like it was yesterday!

"Full and full of cadbury dairy milk, that will crumble and melt in your mouth....no other chocolate does it like something something.....created like no other chocolate"

Milo bars have got me.....

Yeah i've always been a big fan of the milo bar, but i discovered to my horror when i returned from overseas that they've changed the recipe!! 8o

This will not do at all. Please somebody tell me that they still make the original milo bars....i'm not confident :\ :(

The Ultimate M&M Challenge
Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters.
That is the "loser," and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round.

I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the
blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world. Occasionally I
will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointer, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment. When I reach the end of the pack, I
am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd.

Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in
an envelope and send it to Mars, Ring Road, Ballarat VIC, along with a 3x5 card reading:

"Please use this M&M for breeding purposes."
This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 250g bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this "grant money." I have set aside
the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will
discover the True Champion.

There can be only one...

Muzby, I find it quite disturbing how you use the word "candy" all the time. Seppos...8)

My 2 cents, chocolate is so over rated. Or its just shit house to be hypoglycemic
