Chicago is for lovers...

western suburbs (wheaton), hopefully going to grad school at UIC this fall though, can't stand livin out here! i make it to the city as much as possible, it just gets boring out here will all the old people and boring crowds
 
sw burbs (la grange/hinsdale are) here.
lived here all my life minus the one year i just spent living in colorado.
If anyone is in this area, id love to meet/chill with you anytime.
 
Psychonaut chiming in from the NW burbs out by Crystal Lake. For anyone on here complaining about how boring their suburb is, I guess you've never been to McHenry County. Always down to party with fellow mind explorers.

None of my friends are really into the psychedelic scene the way I am. I love going to shows, clubs, and anywhere you can find good groups of people on good drugs having a good time. :)

ya i feel ya, i feel like im going into this scene by myself, everybody else seems content with booze. I'm too curious :D Hopefully i end up at UIC for grad school to help introduce me into the "culture"

I am so sick of the drinkers around here. Don't get me wrong, I'll go out and drink every now and then. But my friends are up til 4 AM drinking almost every night, and in my opinion I'm at the point where the party needs to slow down. Tripping is about way more than just getting fucked up.

Badass. I live in Wheaton too and it sucks balls. I go to school in the heart of the city though, which is pretty awesome.
 
ya, spent the night there yesterday. had my first run in with coke and honestly i wasn't too impressed...we'll see how next time goes i guess.

just got into U Wisc.-Madison....but that doesnt seem near as fun as being in chicago haha. i'm so sick of waiting for grad school to start in august, live it up for me man haha
 
I've lived in logan square my whole life, but i always find myself venturing to boystown (belmont and clark area) or wicker park. None of my friends in chicago like to do drugs, so it can get sort of boring when I'm here on breaks from college down at urbana-champaign.

I'm more into psychadelics though. Alcohol is only so much fun....

Honestly I don't think the shit in chicago is any better or worse than any other urban area, maybe shits different in europe cause of location and whatnot.

But yeah the shit varies from who you get it from as well as the street corners, I personally hate the westside street corners cause being white and suburban makes me feel like the cops are gonna have an eye out for me. I will never forget the time I got pulled over in the westside back in 03 or 04 or so, I was a teenager at the time and I had 2 other kids in the car. The cops pulled us over right as I was about to get on the highway for basically no reason at all and handcuffed the three of us together in front of my car while they searched. Thankfully my shit was in the hidden compartment of my car and they didn't find anything. This was around the cicero ave. area, and I have since never gone there again.

Like I said some blows are good and others are not, it varies a LOT. The quality can even change at times when you're getting it from the same guy.

Raw will of course blow you out of the water, but at least in my case you have to have 150$ for a gram of it which is not the kinda money I have every day, sometimes if the guy's feeling nice he might do a half G for 80 bucks. Doing raw was the only time I ever actually felt the shit traveling through my veins and even hitting organs like my heart and then brain, very intense. For someone who is not an addict/does not have a tolerance I would never recommend raw, even with a high tolerance I almost felt like I could die and made me slightly nauseous, the shit is almost too strong and easy to OD off of.

Another advantage of having a connect is not having to go to seedy ass trashy ghetto corners where I am afraid of cops cause of the reverse-racial profiling they do when they see white people in black areas, which is bogus as fuck. Instead I can go to lovely Logan Square where I grew up going to punk rock shows at the fireside bowl anyways.

I'm from south barrington and have lived and gone to school in chicago at columbia college the art school. The urban setting of chicago combined with a college lifestyle can be amazing and a really great life experience. It sucks right now I'm in a state of limbo and might have to stay at home and not go to school this semester cause of me trying to recover from this goddamn H addiction. Of YEARS of casually dabbling never did I have a problem until I started using syringe this summer, the needle can make a slave out of the best of us.

If you are I'm kinda curious as to see if we might have mutual real life friends, I would PM you but I guess you cant do that at greenlighter status.
 
Man, I'm from right by Barrington and I can't for the life of me think up a town with the SW initials. lol.
 
anybody interested in chillin this weekend? i'm pretty much a newb to most substances, but none of my friends are interested, lookin to branch out a bit :)
