Cigarettes are one of the toughest to quit. I found the morning cigarettes, the first ones after you get up before work, to be the most difficult to let go of.
 
i just cleaned one of my pipes, i think theres must of been at least a 1/8th of resin in there.
i kind of miss smoking cigs, but i always hated when i encountered a no smoking zone or whatever. so instead of trying to comply ive pretty much just given up. except a few a week

I haven't fucked with synths since 2011, and I never plan to again. I don't actually plan to drink so much, though I'm certain I'll be drinking more than before.

I've turned mostly to video games recently as my anti-drug; however, in and of themselves, video games are just as addictive/habit forming. Yesterday my fiance was pissed because I never tried to fuck her all day, instead playing at least 8 hours of computer games. 'Course she never said anything... She could have said something and I'd have boinked her... I digress lol


Very glad I've never enjoyed cigs. I don't judge people for smoking them (other than a 'what do you get out of it that I seem to be missing?' sentiment), but even if they were fun... I mean, you stink to non-smokers, it's got bad health implications, it sometimes limits the women who will take interest in you, etc. Seems like a no-brainer to abstain. Then again, I don't get the positive effects from them, so that certainly contributes to the nonsensical nature of cigs to me.

Now, I do rather enjoy menthol snuff as an occasional vice. Seems hard to find quality stuff here in the states, I'm only familiar with such pleasure due to an English friend of mine. The menthol feels great, I get to emulate doing harder drugs, and the effects are much more positive and pronounced. Also an easy way to titrate dose as you can take as large or small a pinch as you like. Plus no puking from swallowing spit on accident like with dip or snus.

i haven't bought any snuff in a long time but ive been thinking about it for a few months, i remember that there was this swedish brand that i really liked. next time im in a smoke shop ill ask about it
 
I got really messed up on durban yesterday. It was a beautiful experience, in retrospect. It got borderline scary at times, but made everything quite enjoyable for a while.

My fiance is similar, but you guys can at least watch Star Wars and Lotr with each other. He prefers stories based off real life (drama or history) and isn't really a gamer so we generally have our own separate hobbies.

Fucking is one of things we can agree to do together. lol

For a while, I really disliked Star Wars, and fantasy in general. I too wanted things based upon my idea of reality so to speak. The newer Star Wars films didn't help though lol.

I've fallen back in love with SW because I realized just how much content there is. Such a broad universe. So much depth and pseudo-history. Now, Lotr is classic. Always loved it. She just loves it more than me.

My gal games too, but we play different games, or at the very least play single player separate from one another often. We both love Bethesda games (she especially loved Skyrim) but they certainly aren't the kind of games you share heheh.
 
I read the Xanth series (Piers Anthony) at a very young age. That was probably what got me first interested in fantasy.

The Xanth series is supposedly getting made for TV and film currently. Now that's a story I would pay the extra $ for the extended edition.
 
My ex fianc?e used to play Magic: The Gathering with me and always won. I never managed to get a handle on that game to ever be able to beat her. And she kept buying cards. The payback was getting her hooked on Civilization.

However, she is rear view mirror and now I spend my computer gaming time play Fallout 4, Civilization 6 and American Civil War battles (John Tiller Software), esp Antietam. Trying to decide between an Xbox one or PS4.

Got stung by at least 2 hornets today, apparently they have the most painful sting of any of your typical garden "bees" (the term a lot of people use for them which is technically wrong). 5% acetylcholine is supposedly what makes it bad, according to wikipedia.

I read that after I took 2 hydroxyzine (think benadryl basically, it's a much stronger antihistamine though, and anticholinergic like benadryl (acetylcholine!)), 2 tylenol, 1 400mg ibu, and 2 big hits of 50:50 mix between ringo's gift (15% CBD) and strawberry banana (~23% THC), and hydrocortisone on the sting site.

I can't imagine a better stack for an insect sting. 3 methods of direct attack on the sting site, 4 methods of attack on the pain perception. Works great, and let me tell you those stings fucking hurt at first.

This kind of shit I do makes me wish I had become a scientist and fucked around with things in a fun way for research. Like imagine if I could set up a clinical trial relating to this. Compare the difference between multidrug (but non-interacting) stacks and using say just one traditional treatment like a lot of people do. Rate pain reduction quality. I have a sneaking suspicion that attacking conditions and illnesses from several angles is almost always going to be best (when feasible, ie very low risk to reward ratio). Idk, just sounds like fun to me. But fuck the schooling and all the white collar formal corporate bs I'd have to deal with if I wanted to become that person.

It ain't worth it. I'm not going to say trust me, but its pretty shitty having to kill animals. I worked in one lab for 7 1/2 years; that was pretty cool. Boss would buy cases of beer on Friday afternoons. Last lab I worked in was for just a shade over 20 years. Boss was a complete dickshit asshat. The shithead couldn't even spell my name right (seriously, how hard is it to spell Thomas).


Conferences were fun, free and booze/food fueled. The benefits are great (drug coverage, ambulance, disability, etc). But I was just a worker droid with no ability to influence the research direction. The only thing I considered, uh fun was working with the instrumentation.

However, I can swear very goodly in Polish, Chinese, Farsi and whatever passes as the native language in Nigeria (them was most of the students we had in our lab).

idk man, it's just not what I was hoping for.

it's good but I think I just miss the 2000-2010 Eminem, with the music that gets your head noddin' instead of leaning in to make sure you catch everything he's saying and stay focused on how he breaks down and separates his sentence structure.

takes a ton of talent but I'd prefer to just kick back and relax instead of feel like I'm studying when i put anything on.


EDIT: and see, now I've listened to it several times since I first saw your post and it's really grown on me. The first time around my reaction was pretty much "meh."

I'm kind of hoping there is more back and forth with this, it would most likely mean more good music.

It's been a little opposite for me. The first listen definitely got my head noddin with a big grin on my face. The more I listened to it, the less I smiled and the less I head nodded. That was true for both songs for me tho.

I think we can agree that both songs are good, however.

No way bro. Its just 4 oz of hydro. I am just hoping that I can make it last through the winter. Trying to cut back a bit. Thinking of starting a 1 plant hydro grow in my closet. I miss growing so much but the law can fuck off lol.
 
just smoke a bowl of peaches and cream, it tasted kind of like the name. i was tempted to buy some plants at the dispensary but i still have some seeds so im going to try those first
