Yeah wtf, this episode was particularly short. But damn if I don't want to find out what happens next!
I agree, after watching the encore it's clearly a camera pan. They probably could have done that better, though.
Is he just angry at them and is simply a killer who wants them dead?
YOU try losing everything... fucking EVERYTHING. See how amusing your antics are.
I think he's rightfully furious. In the episode "Half measures" (second to last), Gus sets up a meet to put Combo's death behind his organization. Jesse does his own shit anyway, despite Gus's instructions to end the matter. Out of some torn sense of loyalty, Walter saves Jesse's life and complicates Gus's even more. Gus has to clean it all up in the end. Walter has made enough money that Gustavo feels he has the right to do how he pleases regarding his "cook". Too bad he's wrong in this instance.
Actually, I find it hard to believe that two dead corner boys would be that much of a problem for Gus. I think he ordered the boy killed because he knew Jesse would confront the dealers. Gus never wanted Jesse involved in his organization and was probably looking for a way to get rid of him from the beginning. All of Gus's actions are deliberate and driven by business rather than passion.
