Television Breaking Bad

LOVE this show! was freakin the fawk out when i saw the premiere! looks like the 3rd episode of season 3 is gonna be brutal8o

Just finished watching ep2. AWESOME! :) So what are your guy's speculations now regarding the 2 mexicanos and the pollos dude?

I think the Gustavo (POLLOS) guy was going to kidnap Walt (seeing as that he said he was done) using those dudes, or else they were acting on behalf of a Mexican syndicate and once the POLLOS dude found out, he had leverage to call them back.

In any case, it looked like Gustavo and his worker received that phone call in some sort of warehouse, could they have been assembling a facility of some sort?

Only TV show I watch, excellent acting.

i cant be fucked readin all the thread, sorry if that pisses anyone off, but has series 3 started in the uk, iv already watched series 1 an 2

^You can obviously watch it online if you know where to look though.

*How did the Pollos dude know those 2 guys were even there/like who they were, and then was able to have someone contact them so quickly? "Pollos" is obviously international. I doubt he's their boss though, because if he was he would of called the hit, so yea that doesn't make sense. If he did call the hit, he would of let Walt see them fuck with him first, and then have his white clean up man save the day. That being said, I don't think they work for him..SOMEONE obviously worked with/for Tuco, and thinking about it, Tuco was obviously more low level, and retarded too. -The whole thing about this though is that I seriously do not think Gustavo was going to kidnap Walt, because if he was, then why the heck was the clean up man hiding when he heard and even saw Walt in the back?..and then wtf is the point of the cam? If he truely wanted leverage, he would of had the mexicanos killed right in front of Walt, saving his life..but he didn't. I have a feeling that (unlike most good series), this one is only going to truely get better, smarter, more intricate and innertwined.

*I personally think the warehouse looked like some sort of more legitimate cleaning facility that has nothing to do with drugs, although it easily could be...hell it could me a place to literally clean cash..as there were big industrial tumblers, could of been dryers (which could still be used for this :) ), but I digress...wouldn't surprise me either which way, and yes that warehouse is definately going to come back in play.

Yeah its a great show. Much better than 'malcolm in the middle', but still sometimes I feel like its going so slow.

I love it, and have watched slower shows, I hope this show goes where I'd like it to go. Saul is a dirty bastard, it was funny how the other lawyer showed nothing but contempt for Saul.

Its fuckin' hilarious.

^^"Do you concur, counselor?"

Yeah, it definitely seemed like they were coming to harm Walt with the axe and all, but regardless of who they work for, they were really brazen. If Walt hadn't forgotten to lock the front door on his way out, they probably would have used the axe to simply bust it down. Furthermore, if they wanted to kill Walt, why did they sit on the bed rather than bust into the bathroom and do him in there? That does not seem very professional.

Rather, I think they were there to kidnap Walt and take him to some cartel lab, same as Tuco wanted to do and Gustavo wants to do.

I don't think they work for Pollos either, but Pollos obviously has sway over whoever they work for.

This is inspired acting. You can't teach that: you're either born with it or you're not.

It's better than season 1's fulminated mercury scene. I don't know how he kept a straight face after pulling that off.

I'd rather watch the show and come up with my own ideas than have someone give it away online or see it in the previews for next week, so I never watch the previews for the upcoming episodes.

That was a crazy ending to episode 2 though! Not too exciting of an episode, but it definitely left a lot of questions for future episodes, just basically developing more of the story now.

I've watched the pizza flipping scene 12 times. It's either the cleanest CGI I've seen or they got incredibly lucky to have it land like that.

They might as well make that the cover.

Haha, that was the best scene in the whole episode! I thought that was incredibly hilarious how the pizza spun up there when he threw the box in anger.

Then Skylar calls him all pissed off complaining about a pizza on the roof? Classic. :)

I really loved this episode.

NSFW:
I loved Walt freaking out consistently throughout the episode.

It was sort of mean for Jesse to buy his parents' house. I mean, he's the reason it was worth so much less. :\ I guess you don't really know much backstory between that family but yeah. I am still glad Jesse got a sweet-ass house & his act is getting back together.

"When I went out this morning to get the newspaper I saw a pizza on our roof. Would you know anything about that?"

They don't usually give her good lines, and her character had been kind of 2D for the 1st 2 seasons. I think they're gonna start developing her more, though; she's gonna cease being a soccer mom and start morphing into a Carmella Soprano type figure.

I just spent the last 5 hours watching the first 5 episodes. I just can't stop watching, I'm hooked. This is the best show I've seen in a long time. I need to catch up so I can watch the new season :).

and it also doesn't seem consistent that they had to go to the bell guy to get a name, when gus obviously knows what it is. i'm curious what this week is going to reveal!

The bell guy is Tuco's uncle. He probably hired those guys, or called the cartel to murder / kidnap Walt. I think Gustavo is just a bigger fish w/ more influence.

-edit-
just watched the most recent episode and everything makes sense now. damn.

Goddamn Skyler is a bitch. I don't see her and Walt finding a way back together anymore. I'd like to see how Walt reacts to this, as I do not think that Skyler realizes just how much of a badass her once kindhearted pushover husband has become. She probably doesn't know that he has killed people before, for example. If she starts playing too dirty, it will be crazy to see what Walt is capable of doing to the people he started out trying to help the most.

I like how everybody is so different this season. Both Walt and Jesse are irreversibly changed. The cover for this season shows Jesse with a gun in his hand, which represents how he will no longer be a softy either. His girlfriends death is really getting to him as you can see, with him calling her phone over and over just to hear her voice one more time. The kid is truly heartbroken, and when he leaves his depression behind he is going to rage on the world. I'm excited as hell to see this different side of him come out. He is the bad guy now.

Hm yes, I agree with what you said about Jesse. He is going to start cooking good product, maybe as good as Walt's. If he can accomplish this, what's stopping him from cutting Walt out of the $? Seems like there may be tension along these lines LATER in the season... What I wonder is if he will relapse and use again. Still, something tells me Walt & Jesse will stay together, as they're just too damn deep in the game.

As for what you said about Skyler, I'm not sure. I think her thing with Ted was sort of a test for Walt, and her way of revenge against Walt for all the shit he did behind her back. You can tell that deep down she still cares for Walt, but is having trouble accepting his justification. Ted also seems to represent another person that did bad for the good of his family...
