Television Breaking Bad

Started to watch the show, but only got to see like 3 episode's. Then I got behind and have not been able to catch up yet. Seemed like a good show, from what I saw. Need to catch up on Sons of Anarchy and also check out that new show Justified.

Season 3 Opener was good tonight... Mexico is coming!

I like the discussion between Jesse and the counselor around the fire..

Skylar is such a pain in the ass, why does Walt divulge specifics to her right after her nasty little revelation?

I have just recently become a fan of this show. I'm trying to catch up on the first two seasons. Anyways I live in az and I was watching fox and I saw at least two commercials for the season premiere, I was surprised

What was that crawling all about in the beginning? That was confusing to me. I was also trying to figure out where they would have gotten a picture of Heisenberg when he had a hat and glasses on like that. I know he did that when he met with Tuco in the junkyard.

The Jesse parts were pretty dark. The fire scene was good, but it was unsettling the way they left off with him at Walt's place.

I found it funny when Skylar thought he made all that money by selling weed. I'm surprised that he told her right away to the start of season 3. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

I'll leave the critiqing up to you guys (...twisting your arms), I was so goddamned satisfied with the season opener and like all of you cannot WAIT until the next one comes. I will flat out say that I was literally moved and shaken when Skylar made her assumption and Walt confirmed. Dear god, this is easily the best show I've ever seen. And now the Pacific is out...Sundays are insainly good! :)

I was confused by the crawling at the begining yet it cleared up a little once i saw the alter. My guess is that they think the pic of walt is somehow a representation of the saintly fiqure that was to the right of it. And that those two bald blokes are headed out to find this "saint", just my opinion. One small thing that caught my attention, the eyeball walt found in his pool filter. Im gussing its only a glass eyeball, but i wouldnt be surprised if it comes back in some way shape or form into future episodes.

Hmmm, I thought Walt's pic was only up there because it's a reasonable place for all people of the community to see, like a 'wanted' picture. Perhaps they're praying to him for getting rid of Tuco. I thought the crawling was for some ceremony involving a saint or other catholic reasons (and not Walt).

Loved the episode though! Cannot wait for next week. :)

I thought at the beginning that the twins were placing a curse on Walt by placing his likeness next to a figure that represents death. The others crawling around were there for their own reasons. Them Juarez boys are coming for Heisenberg.

1) Aaron Paul is an excellent EMMY NOMINATED actor. What the FUCK are you smoking!?

2) It's called acting, and it's what won him 2 Emmy awards in a row. Again --- what the FUCK are you smoking!?

3) That was an excellent scene and went on for exactly the amount of time it needed to. It was one of the best scenes of the series so far. Again --- what the FUCK are you smoking!?

You're not Capt. Buzzkill, you're Capt. Totally Clueless:p

Jim Belushi is an Emmy nominated actor, so those awards are pretty much worthless. Paul isn't terrible, but he is not a great actor, good is probably a stretch as well.

Cranston, on the other hand, is pretty good, but I agree with the excessive "try to make the weirdest face possible". Over-acting, but he can pull it off.

They've been showing it for a while now starting sometime last season at the beginning of some episodes. It ended up under Walt's bed in the last episode right? I thought that was funny that he stuffed it in his pocket when Hank came to get him.

What impresses me the most about Cranston is when I see him in Breaking Bad versus how he seems in real life and the other roles I know him for. He is completely different than as Hal (the dad) in Malcolm in the Middle and he's different than the small roles of Stan Grossman in Little Miss Sunshine and Tim Whatley in Seinfeld.

His ability to change so drastically between roles amazes me. He never seems to be acting like someone, he just IS that person.

im pretty sure the eyeball was from the teddy bear they kept showing in his pool last season, which came from falling debree from the mid-air plane collision.

agreed, cranston is amazing. and also agreed, paul is okay. i got really tired of his wiggerish "mad cheddah, yo" vocabulary. but after a while it grew on me, and so did he. i do like walt and jesse's dynamic together. its so disfunctional it works so well.

on to the season premiere....HOLY SHIT! what an episode!!!! i was stuck in suspended intensity the entire hour. that beginning part was way creepy. the two dudes and the crawling, and then the part where they changed clothes, and then the truck massacre. they did not say a word the entire episode. yeah, im pretty sure they arent out to find their "saint". but moreso, out to find heisenberg and kill him.

skylar is really really annoying. her face just looks super annoying. she was a total bitch to her sister marie who has been trying to help. marie just wanted to know why they are getting a divorce. shit, her son walt jr just wants to know why they are getting a divorce. i understand that she is trying to protect walt and to protect everyone else, but not saying anything at all? even something to comfort them. egh, not a fan.

im really really stoked for the next episode!!!

Man, and to think I never even gave this show a second thought when I saw a preview for it way back when. I spent lat weekend at home and chanced by the marathon they were running. What a great show. It was pretty interesting to watch Walt go from a timid, kindhearted character you sympathized with in the first season to the bad guy he is now. I'll definitely be tuning in every Sunday to keep up on this show.

I do agree that Skylar is a bitch. She doesn't even give Walt a chance to explain himself. She blackmails him and tells him sign the divorce papers or he tells Hank. It's like, are you kidding me? Give him a fucking chance to explain himself. He did it all for you because when he died he didn't want to leave you broke as hell and in debt the rest of your life. Jesus, it's obvious she loves him and he has hurt her, but come on. He did everything for his family.

Sometimes the most valued sacrifices are the ones that hurt the loved ones the most. She just pisses me off. I mean I know it's part of the show but her character, the way she acts, just annoys me.

Look at her singing happy birthday to Ted all seductive like. And she lied to Walt telling him the reason she quit working for him cause gas fumes or something were bad for her lungs. She lied to him then, but when he lies to her for a legitimate excuse that is actually benefitting her, she won't give him a chance.

K I'm done venting =\

I don't think that those 2 mexicans are necesarily out to kill Walt..if they are, then this show will have lost it's credibility... That would be WAY too predictable/ black and white. That's not BB's style...and it's not going to happen. ...Thinking about it this way puts me at complete odds with what their purpose is. To be honest though, by this point, the show is so good that I wouldn't be let down if they WE'RE out to kill Walt. Perhaps, the truck massacre is an earlier scene in events, like they are now working for Walt and have to kill a bunch of immigrants that could ID..Walt..or the whole crawling/voodoo scene is before or after where they worship Walt because he is their boss...the bringing of great fortune... perhaps those 2 "hit men", turn on walt and kill off a truck load of his workers... I can't see it as being as simple and strait forward as "Out to kill Walt." -end ramblin' mahn.

.......He did it all for you because when he died he didn't want to leave you broke as hell and in debt the rest of your life. Jesus, it's obvious she loves him and he has hurt her, but come on. He did everything for his family. .......=\

Ya, but seriously...why is he still doing this shit now? What reason does he have? None...greed has fully taken over. If he stopped already he could of NOT said nothing when she said, "at least give me that walt.."...you know?

Breaking Bad, tomorro! :)

I've watched the pizza flipping scene 12 times. It's either the cleanest CGI I've seen or they got incredibly lucky to have it land like that.

They might as well make that the cover.
