I am not the biggest NIN fan, but they were pretty awesome when I caught them at Lollapalooza this past summer. Their light show (for lack of a better term) is incredible. That shit about the arena sounds absolutely ridiculous. I've been to a lot of shows but have never seen that sort of Nazi-treatment if you just want a damn beer. WTF.
creek was sicccckkkk. they were on fire as mark pointed out only 200 and something days until camp creek cant wait. Might change the NYE plans and see The Breakfast and Shakedown in CT Champagne toast at midnight and a continental breakfast in the morning should be sick.
I just saw Yes last month, and got Stevw Howe's autograph on CD, becasue my fiances mom won tickets to the show by singing owner of a lonely heart on the radio, since she shares my affinity for prog, we went!
On march 12th I get to see Arlo Guthrie in Tampa as well!
Hmm, tomorrow I'm seeing some wierd rap group "LMFAO" that my friend wants me to see then friday I'm either seeing disco biscuits or gov't mule, then saturday I'm either seeing disco biscuits or galactic. The decisions...
^I'd go to mule and galactic, man. Honestly the bisco scene kinda made me want to vomit last friday, me and my buddy decided to split. Those kids aren't very friendly and their doses are shit.
I'm a huge fan of the Perpetual Groove scene, though. Those kids are fucken great; they show mad love and its still about the music. I highly recommend anyone catch P-Groove if you haven't already, they rock out so fucking hard. Highlights of this year for me was 11/6/08 and 11/7/08; they rocked out so hard that I just had to roll down to Austin to see them again (haha even though it meant missing a calculus test, D'Oh!). :D
im going to a local dead cover band show on saturday nite for an all nite GD dance party. woohooo
then on march 2nd im going to see the zen tricksters perform the grateful dead 3/2/69 show (fillmore west) with guests Tom Constanten and Joe Chirco. This should be a real good show.
And at the end of march im going to see the Derek Trucks Band.
