If I'm desperate for water, I'll buy. Usually though, I just stick to the tap, and anything will do: refilled water bottles, or coke bottles, whatever.

since pureau costs so much AUD$4.25 for two litres, i've just been boiling tap water and refilling, but i buy a new bottle every week cuz the plastic bottle begins to make the water taste like shit.

i buy nestle(so round and light), arrow head, and does pellegrino count? dasani always seemed off to me, i dont usually buy aquafina but i will purchase that before dasani.

American water = horrible. Law makes them put a certain amount of chlorine in it I suppose you don't notice if you've lived their all your life but if you're used to British water it'll make you boak

tap water is decent in my town, but it has a lot of chlorine and uranium. I'll get bottled water if I'm cruzin and need a sip, but at home, I just filter it (usually).

side note: ~90% of chlorine and its nasty bi-products are absorbed through the skin while bathing. Shower filters can correct this.

I purify tap water but i'm not opposed to paying for a plastic bottle for practicality, plus I generally think it tastes a bit better. You people get too riled up about other peoples trivial choices.

anyone that lives in south australia knows that tap water is 50% salty dirt.

anything in a bottle tastes like champaigne. except for picadilly which tastes like chlorinated swimmingpool water.
