bottled water is bullshit

Bottled water tastes good, for that reason alone it's worth buying it. Better for you then soda too, so there is the health aspect as well.
 
Bottled water is really made from the tears of starving third-world children.
 
I wonder what the ratio of: pollution you are not putting into yourself (supposedly cleaner bottled water) v.s. pollution put into the environment through the extraction and manufacturing of said bottle of water

and the plastic bottle too for that matter... inks on the labels. . plastic labels... trucks driving the water to a supermarket...
 
If you connected a filter to the cold tap in your kitchen and then proceeded to fill up thousands of bottles with the "filtered" stuff, could you then sell it?

Obviously you'd need a legitimate business etc but seriously, isn't that all the big manufacturers (ie Coca Cola) do anyway???

Chicago city water FTW! Seriously. It's way better than any other tap water system I've tasted and to think it comes from Lake Michigan.

i live in melb, aus... we have one of the best tap waters in the world... it tastes yummy. :p
how many people who buy bottled water know where their water is sourced from?

I dont know if Chi-Towns water is anything to brag about, it was decent.... Milwaukee still has it beat.
 
Water in Lake Tahoe California is pretty good..

I really couldn't care that much tho. I live in the Central Valley of California and we have some of the worst water anywhere. Its loaded with herbacides, pestacides, etc. that runoff from the entire valley into our water system. Personally I love the shit. I've been drinking it 24 years and can sit down with 64 fl.oz. and just go to town on it. Mmmm chlorine and pestacides...:)
 
^ indeed it is. the tap water here tastes so good and it comes out of the tap freezing cold so i don't need to keep any in the fridge.

I thought bottled water was made from the crystal glaciers of Mt. Olympus?

I live in a town of 5,000 and our tap water is worse than most cities'. Luckily there's springs here and there to suck deliciously clear juices of life from...
 
i only drink water from a 'play pump' ;)

it's definitely great to live in a society where the taste of perfectly clean, running water that comes straight into our homes is such a concern. :)

^^ Tasmanian tap water shits all over any other. Nuff said.


And ahh.....bottled water is a waste of cash IMO, just get a bottle, refill and refrigerate.
