There are several factors that work for us. John Q. Public bluelighters:

1) Safety in numbers. Any level of law enforcement has limits on how much time and money it can spend "fighting" crime. They just don't have the resources to chase everyone down.

2) General lack of LE coordination. Meaning, the local cop you drive by with the radar gun that pulls you over for a busted tail light isn't going to know you are a bluelighter. Unless of of course your stupid enough to have a NORMAL bumber sticker on your car.

The level of LE that would checkout bluelight is probably looking for either easy fish or big ones. So, be cool, try not to incriminate yourself. The majority of ppl (who are not dealers) get in trouble with LE because of traffic stops or being out in public with something illegal.

-to see who is dealer
-to get info about the presence of drugs in cities..(like wuts new in which city)
-and to form a database :D .. (ur pics are enough to get ur id remember)

Narcs could get sneaky

I know for a fact undercovers/feds frequent the board and try to set people up. Thats why I would never meet up with another bluelighter who didn't post explicit pictures of irrational and dangerous drug binges first.

But that's just it: a narc could pretend to be something he or she is not! Just because someone posts explicit pictures doesn't mean that they are actually THEIRS or that they haven't been fabricated. Ditto for drug photos. Really!

like everyone else has said though... there's no way to be sure how many people, and which people, are narcs... just be safe, and talk about drugs in past tense. When you post a pic of your stash, its your old stash, not your current one.

Im curious though, there are often Bluelight meetings arranged right here on this site and they know for a fact there are going to be illicit substances there. So why dont they raid them? they may know there will be something there, but like you said, if no one says anything, they have no reason to raid. If its a private venue, i would assume they would need a warrent... and they won't give a warrent unless someone specifically says they are taking something there.

Narcs take people down all of the time. It's not because the people are stupid, its because the narcs know what they are doing. It's impossible to tell if someone is a narc. Some people are naturally jittery and shady. Some narcs are smooth and smart.

I'm sure there are cops who watch the site. Not just looking for users stupid enough to sell to a person whom they met on the internet either...

There are agents reading this site. I'm almost positive I've been in contact with one, immediately after posting the first mushroom grow log pic. Be advised, and please, even though it's cool to post your stash, they can and will log your IP address, and they can and HAVE held this up in court as evidence against a few unlucky BLers

If you have a lot of pictures of yourself, don't post pictures of huge amounts of drugs (or of yourself doing drugs). If you have pics of your former stash, don't post pictures of yourself. As far as agents with usernames, I was under the impression that you needed 20 posts to PM other BL'ers. It seems like a lot of trouble to create a new username and make 20 posts every time an agent gets banned for sending PMs about buying/selling drugs to catch an unsuspecting BLer. But if those PM's are real that people posted, that's really weird, and really obvious who's sending those PM's. It's almost funny.

I would guess that most feds aren't the stupid ones who are pming users stupid shit. They probably have feds who are posters on bluelight as their job. Hell, some of the mods could possibly be feds. I'm sure they aren't all stupid enough to just go about pming people stupid shit. Feds aren't typically after the stupid asses who have a few pills or who would sell to morons they met on the internet. They are after the big dogs.

Users pming other users stupid shit is probably people joking around, kids, or sick fucks.

I don't think it's too far from the imagination to guess that some of the posters who have 500+ posts are feds... Their job is to go through trouble to catch big dealers.
