There are several factors that work for us. John Q. Public bluelighters:
1) Safety in numbers. Any level of law enforcement has limits on how much time and money it can spend "fighting" crime. They just don't have the resources to chase everyone down.
2) General lack of LE coordination. Meaning, the local cop you drive by with the radar gun that pulls you over for a busted tail light isn't going to know you are a bluelighter. Unless of of course your stupid enough to have a NORMAL bumber sticker on your car.
The level of LE that would checkout bluelight is probably looking for either easy fish or big ones. So, be cool, try not to incriminate yourself. The majority of ppl (who are not dealers) get in trouble with LE because of traffic stops or being out in public with something illegal.
