wow that seems twisted.. i never tried salvia, or mescaline, or DOC or K or 2c-i or DMT or DXM, i doubt i could get access to any of that from where i live.. all ive done is acid,e,shrooms and after usin those 3 i couldnt imagine other drugs being more psychedelic than those, must be some fucked shit.

Salvia is legal... buy it on the internet.
So is DXM. DXM is in Cough Syrup...

yea i found that too, when i first broke through on salvia i had the tv on and 2 people that were on the tv kinda projected out of the tv and began speaking to me, one was female who i remember didnt say much, just stood and smiled at me, whilst the guy spoke to me, at one point i tried to close my eyes to make it go away (which obvsiously didnt work as you see it all in your mind) and he laughed at me and said something along the lines of "hahahah that wont work, you cant fight it". which was quite scary.

Holy shit man, you're on a Psychedelic Drugs message board and you don't know that salvia is legal in the US? No offense, but WTF is wrong with you??

Just kidding ;) . Honestly though I've met a lot of people over the past few years that have done loads of drugs, and sometimes I'll ask if they've ever used salvia and most of the time they've never even heard of it. It's kind of shocking really. Further evidence that there is no reason to make salvia illegal, because it doesn't seem to have mass appeal, even amongst drug users.

Use google if you're looking to buy salvia, but right now there aren't that many sites that sell it-- only a few hundred =D .
 
Salvia isnt recreational at all. It's a very powerful drug used for hardcore shamanism. Until shamanism becomes the newest fad, salvia willl remain quite illusive and unknown to the masses.

Great post DexterMeth, glad I'm not the only one that feels strongly about the beneficial effects of salvia. This board seems kind of anti-salvia sometimes, with people comparing it to datura or saying that it is a deliriant or calling it a "gateway to hell" etc.

You're also right about salvia being a She. I'm not into the hippy-ish notion of plants having spirits or anything, so I usually refer to salvia as 'it' rather than 'she' like many others do. But whenever I use salvia there is a definite female prescence, and often there is a chanting or singing female voice as well. I wonder if synthetic kappa-opioid agonists produce the same effect.

I just recently worked up from leaves to 45X and I was greatly suprised, with the 45X I might have taken too big of a rip, i filled up a sherlock pipe up about 4 times clearing it in one breath. I don't even remember what the msoke taste like or blowing any out. The next thing I know Im trying to communicate to my friends but all their heads just start flying around then lining up in a row, then multiplying and forming into stairs, then a chest of drawers, when i went to open the drawer I found myself right at the top of a roller coaster hill about to fall down, and boy did i fall, long.

Then i come to while im saying something untangeable (sp?) my friends said i was wanderign around the house for more than 5 minutes sticking my arms out in front of me like i was blind then holding on to the shoulders of my friend as he guided me around the house and repeating "Did you take a hit Kevin?"

I was wandering how it would be mixing this with another psycedelic like MDMA but im worried after going that far above baseline, once the experience was over you'd just be left feeling like your skelatan is wanting to jump out of your skin.
 
I've only done salvia extract twice, but even after doing it once the second time was much more controlled and i didn't have as strong a feeling of fear. The only problem is both times my room mates have started making noise during the trip and it just freaks me out because I have no idea what is going on.

It's definitly an interesting experience though and I feel that there is a lot to learn from the sage goddess.
 
I've done salvia extracts. I'm pretty much a psychedelic virgin and didn't know what to expect. I took three long hits of 10x. Upon the second hit, I felt a little sensation that is hard to desribe. After the third hit I was left in a stupor for about a half an hour, I felt very uncomfortable in my mind, and uncomfortable in my body. It's not like your trapped inside a room, or a car and as soon as you get out your fine. For thirty minutes I was left with this sensation of being extremely uncomfortable, no enlightenment, no full-fledged hallicinations. Nothing.

I'd probably go for another experience. It wasn't exactly the best setting for smoking, with a few kids sitting around a PS2 in a stingy basement. I could see just hitting some salvia at night by myself in my room, in complete darkness but not in any kind of social setting again. Is 20x as high as this stuff gets for mainstream suppliers?
 
^^^I've experienced that heaps of times before my breakthrough dose. You really need to smoke more- I think mild salvia effects are just annoying. Then again, extreme salvia effects are utterly frigheneing. Well, I personally am only smoking leaves so I'm a little surprised that I went so far; acording to the erowid.com salvia scale, an amnesiac trip is the strongest experience possible. I can't remeeber that much of my trip.

I was somewhat stoned though . . .
 
To put it simply salvia cannot and will not be controlled but you can be more used to or more expecting and find it easier to deal with than the 1st time.

also i would not mix salvia with anything because usually after it i want to be sober and well recover, only thing ive mixed it with was ganja cakes and i wished i didn't but i like to learn (safley...ish) from 1st hand experience.

also gnaro said what else i was going to.

^^^I smoke weed daily and thus mix it with everything I take, I just assumed it would not impact the trip. I don't think the weed effected the outcome, I only smoked one bong about two hours before the salvia.
 
semi unrelated, but i discovered some salvia growing in the garden in my yard and i was wondering what are the odds that is the same salvia that you smoke. i live in northeastern u.s.
 
I smoked a bit more salvia last night, proabbly five bong hits over an hour. I decided I dind't want to breakthrough, as my mum was in the next room, but smoking weed and salvia gave me a good (well, weird) trip.

Its strange, everytime I could feel the salvia coming on I was automatically thinking 'fuck I wish I hadn't done this'- its like the brain just turns on its fear circuits as soon as she makes herslef known- during this, I could enjoy the feelings of being sucked off the planet, but still felt like I was clnging to myself to stay focused and fearless.

Salvia is like a spaceship that you smoke.

Unlikely I think, salvia hasn't been growing wild for very long. Theres many strains of salvia, its divinorum you want.

Listen to me, I'm a salvia expert now. Me and the goddess, we're like this (two fingers, interlocked, are raised in the air).

oh also, don't ever expect a salvia trip to be nice, good, pleasant or fun.
It's a teaching that's all (and it's non sense to estimate a teaching to be "a good trip" or "bad trip" depending on how "pleasant" it was or wasn't, it's not meant to be pleasant, neither it is to be "unpleasant")
At the best, you might call it weird if you really need to qualify it.
