In case by now, you haven't already figured it out from all my posts, I love to ask questions, I love to learn things and I love to make people think.. So.. here is another question for you, that others and I can learn from.

When it has came to the subject of love, sex and relationships, what is the best advice you have ever recieved and continue to follow til this day? Who gave it to you? :)

My Best Advice Recieved

Love: You can't plan love and make it happen... it just does. Wait for it and when you least expect it, that is when it will come. (An ex-boyfriend believe it or not said this to me.)

Sex: Sex brought you into this world... and Sex can easily take you out of it. (This advice wasn't really GIVEN to ME.. but it was overheard being given to a friend.. from a friend)

Relationships: Staying with someone for any other reason than love just ends up hurting everyone around you.. (My friend's mother told me this one). :\

the only cirtain thing in life is death, second thoughts will only have you regreting what you didnt do.... live your life, especially while your young.

Mum always said "Reach for the stars baby, you can always come down" and "It doesn't matter what you do (for a living) as long as you're happy"

Seemingly two contradictory ideas but not really... the first one isn't about ambition, it's about recognising your worth.

love is a pain in the ass, and if you can't hack it you ain't in love.

love might make you crazy, but finding it shouldn't.

if you find a girl you have fun with, hold on to her bc she will be some of the best sex you ever had. - thx dad!

Eh up! Tales of t' grandad (I'll stop it now!). My grandad told me this in respect of how you get on with people, but I think it can be applied to just about any situation:-

"Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst"

I haven't gone wrong with it so far

1: If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right

2: Every end is a new beginning.

Live in now
I've stuck by it for years.
Yes it has gotten me into trouble, though you learn from every action you take.

"Chicks before Dicks" -I'm serious.

"When one door closes, another one opens" (Not original but always true.)

"You beautiful baby, don't you be worrying bout them cock suckas cause dats all they are. Cock suckas! Mmhmmm. Sheeeit, I wouldn't have met ______(some woman's name I can't remember) if I never got this fact in my head. -Some woman on the sub :) I thought she was great, didn't inspire me to become a lesbian though.

Man, I need friends with some good advice. Mine suck :(

"Don't decide whether or not to marry a young lady based on how she treats you.

She has a vested interest in being good to you.

Decide based on how she treats EVERYONE."

- Dad, Summer 1991, over a White Russian

"Fuck it" - what my friend says no matter what the problem is. not exactly constructive but sometimes it does seem that the less you care about something the better.
