Benzos Benzodiazepine Potentiation

also, if specific dosages would help here, i can supply them. i'm just too tired/lazy to figure it all out now.
 
Specific amounts would be helpful.

As a general note, it doesn't really matter when you take the potentiators, as long as it's within an hour of dosing. My advice is this: Don't worry about it and take it all at the same time. Except if you're concerned you might get too sedated, then take the potentiators after the actual drug.
 
Eat a grapefruit an hour before, this is the 10% stuff guys it doesn't make a difference.

The drug is 90% of the high, the potentiation bullshit you do is 10% if you do it perfectly, 0% if you fuck it up, it doesn't matter.
 
So I would like to try and potentiate diazepam, dilauded, OxyContin, (and ativan if it'll work). I would prefer to take them all separately and use something else to potentiate (like I don't want to take the benzos with the opiates bc I want to stretch the length out so I don't have to take as many, trying to cut down).

I can't drink grapefruit juice because it interacts with my anti-rejection meds :/

I have hydroxyzine, 25mg. What would be the best time to take them to potentiate any, or all, of the above meds. I haven't seen anything about a time frame for these. Should I take the hydroxyzine then wait 30 mins, or an hour, then take the benzos or the opiates? Does hydroxyzine potentiate one better than the other? And how much hydroxyzine should I take? I do have a pretty high tolerance for opiates, been on them for over 5 years. I just want to cut down and not take as many. (all of these are legit prescriptions! So no worries!)

There's no alcohol interaction whatsoever, my Dr. (my dad he's a Dr., not my psychiatrist) disagreed, but I've experienced it first hand, and experimeted in several friends, and can tell you that's there will be no interaction if you take it 3~4 hours beforehand.

I was on metronidazole for a GI infection and completely disagree with you. I told my doctor I drink and he told me to abstain completely while on the medication (I was taking 30 mgs of valium/day at the time, too). I didn't listen cause I wanted to get more outta my diazepam and puked my goddamn brains out after a pint of beer.

Metronidazole + alcohol = NEVER. for me at least.
 
hydroxyzine is a great drug, probably the best AH generally available, followed by promethazine. Really wish I had access to some. But my advice is this; don't overthink it. It doesn't matter that much when and how you take it - you could chase the extra 5%, but really, it is a waste of time. Take all the drugs at the same time (meaning the safely combinable drugs).

You could also use the main drugs in small amounts to potentiate each other; this is very effective, but dangerous. Only for very experienced users.
 
Co-codamol potentiates Diazepan. Just one Co-codamol tablet will potentiate 4mg to feel like 6mg.
 
@ Wings of Wax, thank you. I've tried 25 mg hydroxyzine bout 30mins b4 parachuting 8mg of Dilauded and it really didn't help much. Then I tried 50 mg of hydroxyzine, did the same thing and it helped a bit. Though I did feel more sedated than normal. But it lasted longer, definitely!

@ welshmick ^^ thanks for the reccomendation of the Co-codamol, but I don't think it's an option for me. I googled it and the warnings stated not to use if you have liver problems or liver disease, I have had liver disease and received a transplant, but there's like 20% chance it can return so I wouldnt want to do anything to mess with that. But thanks and I really appreciate the suggestion! :)
 
About 1 3/4 hours ago (23:45 UK time) i took a 50mg tab of Diphenhydramine and ate a large-ish white grapefruit,then about 45 minutes later i took about 120mg Diazepam (I have an extremely high tolerance) Then around 10-15 minutes ago i added some very very hot water (just off the boil) and and added it to the 11 small-medium poppy pods i ground earlier. ( I also have a high Opiate tolerance) im just about strain the poppy water into a cup and then add flavour with honey)

I drank the Poppy pod Tea at around 01:15 after letting it stew for around 15 minutes or so, by the time id drank the drink (about 10 minutes) The time was now around 01:25, it is now 01:50..... It should soon begin to hit!

Wish me luck :)

Btw please do not repeat what im about to do unless you are experienced and have a high tolerance to Benzos and Opiates. ;)

Has anyone else ever found that Diazepam is much more euphoric in the morning?? Probably to do with the empty stomach, and obviously morning is not ideal for taking sleeping pills.
Empty stomach, grapefruit juice, sub-lingual route are all good recommendations. :)

Time of the day affects all drugs that I have tried (probably every psychoactive substance).

Eg. it's not wise to take zolpidem early in the morning. I've heard about people microwaving their alarm clocks ; )
 
I had 5mg of Xanax with no benzo tolerance , did a bottle run for a 1.1 litre bottle of jack Daniels and a 700ml bottle of wild turkey , drunk it between me and two friends , had a complete emotional breakdown , bashed one friend , bottled another .

Ended out stealing a tent down my pants from k-mart and put a new outfit/shoes on .
Then set up the tent and made a fire at a local private property grass patch .

Other times I've ended out drinking on Xanax my night just disappears and heaps of fucked up shit happens lol .

I'm really interested in getting some Xanax soon or so Valium and looking into potentiation / mixing with codeine .

I haven't read all the replies but weed is awsome for Valium , makes it much more euphoric and sedating / relaxing depending on ur strain .
 
For me the best potentiators of Benzo's are as follows:

1) Opiates: (and this works the other way around, even more so perhaps) careful not to OD and die, btw..
2) Alcohol: (but not too much, otherwise it kills the benzo high and makes you sloppy as all hell).
3) Caffeine: Maybe it's just my personal chemistry, or the fact that the caffeine forces the benzos into my system a little quicker (if you've noticed caffeine is included in many pain relief drugs for this very reason). I feel like it makes me peak harder, but too much coffee will obviously kill the sedation I am looking for, and I feel like it may also flush the benzos out of my system slightly quicker.

Never tried the grapefruit juice trick. Always heard that was more for Opiates, but I guess I'll have to test it out soon with the temazepams I'll be trying shortly :)
 
Opioids aren't potentiators for benzodiazepines, they synergize, but don't potentiate, it's basically just stacking doses of extremely potent CNS depressants. It's very dangerous to mix opioids or alcohol with benzodiazepines.

I'm like 99.99% sure that GFJ has no effect on benzodiazepines.

That's a bit different:
cigarettes.
They don't potentate benzos, AFAIK they may even lower their concentration in blood (or shorten their action? I can't remember the mechanism) but it's so nice to smoke after sucking on diazepam :)

For me cigarettes seem to make Etizolam hit harder for a short while, if the peak effects had started to subside....
 
2mg alprazolam + 2 beers + at least 5 shots (can't remember) = punching my best friend in the face for no reason...let this be a caution to you...lol...sure is fun though! Be prepared to wake up thinking you had a mellow night...you won't remember SHIT...
