I'd say that's closer than the 1mg diaz = 10mg alpraz that's usually quoted but for me they just don't equate at all easily. I can eat diaz all day long even without a tolerance and never knock myself out. Would be fucked out my mind but still awake. Alpraz drop me like a sack o' shit even at 1mg doses without tolerance. Tolerance does seem to build quickly with alpraz though.

IME, 1mg alpraz = 30mg diaz.

I've been off all benzos for 6 months now. (except for a 1 week detox back in rehab where they gave me librium for the week)

Another 6 months & my year aftrercare is up so no more piss tests.
Look forward to some midaz & fluraz to knock meself out again. The taste of zopiclone is enough to make a sleepless night not such a bad idea!

im on my 5th benzo detox ive done cold turkey ones like in jail where ive been on 50m or more ddaily then nothing fucking scary n drives one insane for months but now i'm comein down 2m a wk i'm now on 15 m a day but take 5m and save the the rest and i buy <snip> blues at a time an send em home to wales cos i actually need benzo's for anxiety so wen i get cut off by the dr i will have them there. and buyin i n thousands is quite cheap compared to st prices. just wish thhe dr's were not cutting me off i fucking need them.

I use diazepam for functional and recreational purposes. Not really too much, and tend to have 1-2 week breaks taking nothing at all at times.

My question is how long of a break would one have to take to get tolerance back down to zero levels. When I say I don't take much, I'll maybe take 30mg in an average week. And very rarely go anywhere near 100mg in a week.

although ive done it a few times I'm not much of a drinker. and when my favorite benzo is thrown into the equation i don't want to taint it's attributes, even know sometimes they can be complimentary. that actually happened to me last night (minus the red) I woke up at 550 this morning and was like WTF I swear it was just 10pm and I was watching some stupid TV show?!
gotta love it.
this acquaintance of mine is going through benzo wd. he's can hardly walk and is breaking glasses every two seconds cause of convulsions. scares the shit out of me. I havent asked him his dose. I'm still at .75-1mg at night once daily so I feel like I still have some time before I'm doomed..
 
Diazepam tolerance

I have only recently started taking non scripted diazepam to help boost up the crap heroin we got round here. I generally only take it 2 nights on the trot then nothing for next 5 days. I have been taking between 20 & 40mg each time.
My question is, will I build a tolerance using this way and if so how long would that take? I realise it will be different for everyone but just after a general idea if anyone can help?
 
I was using that dose daily for a while when i started using ages ago, i didnt notice tolerance that fast. I reckon you wouldnt notice a change in effects for a good month or 2 at least

I think (correct me if im wrong someone) it'd be better to use twice a week on different days, not on the trot if thats an option, to avoid tolerance.

Be careful with addiction/tolerance though, doesnt take much for doses to creep up.
My cold turkey failed miserably, took 10mg etiz just so i could sleep last night and had about 8mg throughout today, tolerance is a cunt :(. Plus ran out of diaz which i was tapering with, and since etiz barely helps me sleep doses have shot right back up
 
I have private health insurance and I find it awkward to get Benzo's locally so I am going to see the The Croaker next week as I am having problems going akip recently, I also would like to have them handy for" in a case emergency break glass" scenario. I would need them only for occasional rather than daily or even weekly use. I have a very genuine reason for being kept awake.

What are my chances.
 
On the NHS I'd say virtually nil at the moment but private docs are famously keen to keep patients happy so would be pretty hopeful in your situation. Genuine need tends to shine through even on the NHS (up until the clampdown anyway) so if you're paying him to listen it should be perfectly feasible. The usual problem is getting a regular script rather than a one-off of just a few doses even if you do only use them intermittently, I'd say.

hey everybody.. I know I'm not supposed to be doing any benzos but did too many uppers before and the b is really weak so I'm going to have a brief retox tonight and take a couple of

not tried it yet but from reading on Wikipedia the bioavailability got me confused:
Oral ~36%
I.M. 90%+

does that mean its not worth just taking the two 1mg yellow tablets orally? apparently their very water soluble and so can be injected however not sure that applies to the tablets maybe just the pure chemical, anyone?
 
oops did find a thread on it eventually these things I have must be stronger than 1mg if people tend to take around 60mg for a recreational dose.. little yellow pills, not sure of the strength and the pharmacy it was obtained from is asleep for the night so if anyone else knows how right now please do tell :D

Wrong benzo mate, afaik midazolam doesnt come in 1/2mg yellows. Maybe lorazepam? fair bit of that round leeds atm
 
sounds like lorazepam to me, dissolve it under the tongue
 
Whats midazolam like? Been saving it for a whike, loraz is another oe iv never tried but hav a bit off. just bee sticking to blues, gonna save em for a tine when inm sober so ican enjt the effects fully.

True, here liquid clonazepam (Rivotril drops) has a peachy taste. Yummy :D
