I'd really like to hear a non-vocal version of that track. Although on the plus side, the vocal version is good for putting on at parties with people who aren't really into EDM (and this applies to most vocal EDM tracks).
 
Bassnectar's new album is HORRIBLE. He needs to either stop making music, or take time off touring and work on producing quality tracks.
 
It lacks originality, theres no flow, most of the tracks sound the same. It sounds like somebody who is just learning how to make dubstep music, and they're using really basic software. As a dubstep producer, he sucks.

His old music was fresh, innovative, and every track sounded like he put so much work and time into it. Way better than his new stuff, you can't even compare the two.

I'm guilty of referring to artists as "they" instead of "him" but its not because I listen to electronic music simply for the drug scene but because I don't research my music. I'll look up an artist's other work if I happen to enjoy their music but it stops there, I don't care too much to look up their personal biography.

Agreed, the best of the album. But other than song the rest of the album sounds like just about every other electronic track out there currently :\
Maybe I'll have to give it another listen.
 
I think the new album sounds pretty damn good, still listening and finding tracks i like. Better than wildstyle i think, also got a killer waterbottle , 3D poster, bandanna, stickers and iphone case -lol! hell yes!

*Parade into centuries 2011 remix is pretty cool

It definitely isn't very good but suggesting he take time off from touring is ridiculous! Lorin puts on one of the best shows ever! I would hate it if I couldn't see him at least twice a year. I don't care how bad this album is, he is still going to be throwing down his oldER stuff at North Coast and the Milwaukee show on the 29th. I love seeing him live, he brings it every single time.
 
It would be nice if he ever came over to Ukraine, he could even play in our local underground EDM club. :) I've heard his shows are quite the something.
 
saw him at camp bisco and his show was incredible, words cannot describe. wasn't even rolling, tripping, anything. just enjoyed a great great show

i'd post a pic but i don't think i can yet haha
