Opioids Avoiding the Withdrawals

I think you'll find out for yourself soon enough. C2L summed up the symptoms. If you are using that much and that regularly its really just a matter of time. All of the sudden your supply will be dry and you will quickly find out about the circle of using just to be "good"

My advice is slow way down or just stop entirely. If you aren't physically dependent now you will be.

now that i think about it, i have been getting watery eyes lately..... ive normally always been an insomniac (my usual bed time is around 3 am) and the yawning i never thought about till now.... i guess i diddnt really notice any symtoms because they were already in my life.. ill try to see how much they worsen after my next use.

Its probably not gonna be something u notice right away after a night of using. It drags u in slow as others have said. With continued use symptoms will get worse and worse but if won't happen right away, but slowly so just cuz u r not getting symptoms after ur use doesn't mean subtle ones aren't there already. It will happen if u continue using, there is no way around it. W/d creeps in slowly before u r addicted but once u get addicted u will get them pretty much after every use.

If you're already consuming 120mg of oxycodone (or around there), or 24mg of dilaudid in a night, I'm surprised you're already not withdrawing.

That was my first thought, as well.

I've noticed that the more time goes by that I have been using opiates regularly, the quicker and harder withdrawl comes on. Not being an 18 year old forever works against you, as well. Even just a year ago I'd be dead tired for a day or two with some difficulty sleeping, maybe some RLS, and that would be it. These days if I skip dosing for a full day I'm crying over Disney movies and I'm aching so bad it's hard to find the motivation to move around.

Getting older sucks. You don't wanna find out how much withdrawing sucks on top of it.

I was in your shoes not too long ago. As great as this place is, I think everyone knows it's kind of silly to keep shouting "stop now or you're fucked!" let's face it, 99% of the people here like to get loaded and very few people are going to be convinced to just stop. No one just stops and goes "whew! Thanks to the folks at bluelight i can just put down my drugs and be glad I just narrowly avoided trouble!"

Hah.

Look, if you're going to use just be sure you have enough of a supply that you either don't have to stop or you at least will have enough to slowly taper down once you decide on your own it's time to quit.

Your own personal demons and smarts will decide how far down the rabbit hole you let yourself go. I drew a line in the sand for how many pills a night i would take, even if they stopped working. Sure, I splurge now and then, but I refuse to let my usage get progressively worse and worse.

Not everyone can chase a high and give up when it becomes a chore.

Just use a little smarts and have the willpower to take a step back when you can see yourself going too far. If you can do that, you should be fine.

^Isn't your last sentence making the same point that you ridiculed previous posters for trying to say?

i thought i knew a lot about drugs ... until i came on here..... you guys are freakin awesome

i got withdrawal from using just DHC ... (i was using it for a long time tho)

i didnt really get dopesick ... but my legs hurt a lot . it was nasty plus depression from lack of dopamine i think...

not good, listen to the guys on here OP they know there shit a lot more than me

So now its me going 2 days without any..... ive done dilly's for the last 2 days (Prior to cristmas) and oxy (3 days in a row prior) i kinda wished i diddnt know the W/D effect now, Since now i notice them ALOT more. Hahaha i kinda brough this on myself, this stuff does get to you. All i can think about is MORE!!!! although i think im gunna switch from the oxy's to the dilaudids since they are alot more docile than oxycotton.

actually, i got another question. why do OCs give you a more "speedy" kinda buzz then Hydromorphone?
I notice when im on oxy its alot more enjoyable to get up and move around then when on dilly's. when im on dilly's its like moving around is more of a chore than when on oxy's.
I know that opiates differ but if their made from the same plant then why??? maybe its just placebo??? but it really doesnt feel as so

When I was using for recreation, once a week, I would nod hard as hell off of 20mg percs. So, you are already in heavy. Hell, I would freak out sometimes thinking I would OD. lol.

Not too mention, no matter how careful you think you are with your spacing and dosing, it will eventually catch up to you and you will be a full blown addict. It has happened to me and many others. It's once a week, to a couple times a week, to every other day, to every day. Quit while you are ahead and you can.

Withdrawal takes many forms...

I used to take opiates once a week on a certain day only. No, i wasn't in physical withdrawal, but I'd be anticipating that day all week long, dreaming about the drug, etc....

Being "dope sick" is one of the worst feelings you can experience.

The effects are so gnarly that I don't even feel like mentioning them because it makes me think of 3am when my roomate's girlfriend would walk into my room to ask if I had a clean pair of boxers she could wear.

Don't let yourself get strung out, whatever you do.

Quit now while you can, it is only going to get harder, I can guarantee that. In a few months you will be hopelessly addicted and you won't even enjoy the feeling anymore, you will need it to feel normal.

Please take my advice, I am serious you are taking the same road every single other junkie out there has, you start small and occasionally and 95% of the time this leads to a horrible addiction.

You are just trying to justify to yourself that the withdrawal isn't that bad so you can keep using, you will say anything to try and convince yourself it is true. You will ignore 100 posts and keep waiting for that one deluded person to come in and say 'keep dosing its fine'. Trust me, I've been there and so have so many other people, quit now!!

I know that opiates differ but if their made from the same plant then why??? maybe its just placebo??? but it really doesnt feel as so

Because it is a different drug? All opiates act slightly differently hence the different effects.

No matter how many people describe how bad opiate wd is, you really don't know until you experience it yourself. Put simply, it's the most god awful experience I've ever had. It's not just the symptoms, it's everything combined- the emptiness in your body and soul- the crippling depression- the way you can't get warm- the restlessness- the aches deep in your bones. I get nervous just thinking about it.

Soo like most experienced psychonauts, Age is catching up (even though im only 21) the need to experience and consume various psychedelics and uppers are past, and with that being said, what goes up must come DOWN!!! my point being Downers are what im into now (OC's and Dilly's to be specific).
With that said im still somewhat new to opiates, ive been doing them on and off for about 4 months now. I dont use heavily (i get my supply about once a week) and dont do it for more than 3 days in a row (cuz usualy my supply goes dry by then :( ) but ive never felt any withdrawl symptoms. the most mg's of OC's ive consumed in a night was about 120mg's (wont do that again 8( ) and dillys are about 24mg's a night.
I guess what im wanting to know is, how long can i keep doing this before i would start to get any withdrawl symptoms???? and what are the withdrawl symptoms like??? my friends talkin about getting "Dope Sick" but i dont know if that means getting sick after not consuming for a while or getting sick the day after consuming too much (which has happened to me) anyways just looking for some new advice.

if you dont do it more than twice a week, sometimes 3 (but not every week), you won't get w/d. follow these tips cause they will help a lot. don't use immediately when you wake up, cause you'll end up being high a lot longer throughout the day, and if you're high all day and used to waking up to being high, you'll have problems. make sure you don't have opiates in your possession at all times cause that will lead to your downfall. you may already be to the point where you can't have them on you and not use. that's ok, as long as you recognize this and act accordingly. never iv, not even once. it will always be in your mind and you'll have serious problems if you get into that. and a lot of people do, and there's no way of knowing if you'll be one of them. i have some friends who are just not into it, and some people who can't use another way now. i never though i'd get into it, but i did.

i maintained this regiment for about 2 years before i broke all these tips, and i became dependent really fast. it was having the opiates on me all the time that really fucked me. and now its really hard to go back to the way i was before i got hooked.

im telling you this cause i seriously doubt you will stop. im trying to get help you avoid w/d, which is why im giving you tips. just be careful, cause you don't really know what you're getting into.

yeah this is pretty accurate description, with the addition of almost every flu symptom (running nose, sneezes, etc). except i never got depressed, but i can definitely relate to that 'emptiness' feeling. when you get off, you body just feels like something's missing. the restlessness also really sucks.

ok first off. Never ever use consecutive days. Do not raise your dose for as long s possible. If your already trying to use as much a possible. Your on the rode to a fucking dick slap from opiates. I have been using opiates for about 4 and a half years now with weekly sometimes twice a week dose but Thats on special occasions and I have never even eaton 80 mgr of oc. And I snort heroin for Christ sakes. I have also never had a Ed. My advice yo you is stop now. For a month. And them after the month start off with a wayvloer dose and don't use more than once a week

Totally agree with you, in that I wish I didn't even know the wd signs rather than know everything about them...ignorance truly is bliss.

Even if you NEVER make an acception and keep your use strict, going 3 days in a row max, you could still easily develop enough of a tolerance to feel a light flu-like feeling a couple days after each binge. You're still a "chipper" man, quit while you're ahead. There's nothing mysterious or fun about this shit.

it's funny how fast physical dependence can creep up on you...only a year and a half ago, i actually thought i just got a lot of colds and viruses, cause every time i came off a 2-3 day stretch of using , i'd get watery eyes, yawning, diarrhea and achy joints. at that time i wasn't even using large amounts of down, just small amounts on a regular basis. soon, however, it clicked in that those "colds" went away when i did some more opiates...and here we are today. i live in fear of withdrawals, they truly make it impossible to get anything done or focus on anything but what you're going through.

if you can, like everyone else has pointed out, do yourself a favour and take a LONG break from any kind of opiates.

What do you mean docile? bc those things are like the cocaine of opiates, not making you want to move around and lots of energy, but as in taking line after line after line, THEY AINT GOT NO LEGS haha;) and imo are more addictive if you have enough to be able to snort and stay messed up, for me I would just mess up and go back to injecting if I did them bc they were only good for one thing huge rush
